    摘要： A temporary insulating switch cabinet cover is installed in the doorway of an electrical switch cabinet having high voltage energized switchgear in order to enable a worker to perform maintenance tasks on the switchgear while the switchgear is energized. The cover is designed to expose a part of the energized switchgear while covering and isolating another part of the energized switchgear so that a worker is enabled to work on the exposed part of the energized switchgear while being protected and insulated from the unexposed covered part of the energized switchgear.

    摘要： A media appliance and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a housing is adapted to be mounted within a wall. A panel forms a front portion of the housing and the panel includes vents and the panel may be mounted substantially flush with the wall. A media player, which includes a set-top box, is disposed within the housing. A pair of ports, disposed within openings defined by the housing, are configured to receive respective optio-electric connectors. Each port includes optio-electrically conductive elements. The pair of ports are coupled to the media player and one port is configured for providing a connection to a television and the other port is configured for providing a connection to an external source of signal for the television.

    摘要： An electrical panelboard enclosure includes an enclosure housing with an interior equipment chamber accessible by way of a service entrance door. A service panel is configured to receive power from a main power source. A main power breaker has a main power breaker toggle switch and is positionable between a power-on state and a power-off state to selectively activate and deactivate the main power. A power cutoff switch mechanism is operable from outside the service entrance door and is positionable between a power-on state and a power-off state to mechanically engage and deactivate the main power breaker toggle switch and cutoff the main power without opening the service entrance door. A lockout system is operable to prevent the service entrance door from being secured in a closed position unless the main power breaker and the power cutoff switch mechanism are in the same state.

    摘要： The invention provides a circuit breaker panel with several safety features. The main breaker is separated from the circuit breakers by a non-conducting shield. The main breaker is also covered by a transparent, non-conducting shield. A further transparent non-conducting shield separates the circuit breakers from the neutral and ground bus bars. The neutral and ground bus bars are offset from one another to prevent wire crowding. Bending posts extending from the back plate of the panel help control the wire in the panel to prevent it from crossing bus bars or circuit breakers.
