摘要： An AV transmission device includes a network cable and two transmission terminals. The network cable has eight transmission lines, which are grouped into four transmission line pairs. The two transmission terminals are respectively connected to one of two ends of the network cable. With the AV transmission device, power supply and a video signal can be coupled with each other and then transmitted via one of the four transmission line pairs. A control signal and left and right channel signals are respectively transmitted via one of the rest three transmission line pairs. Thus, when expanding an AV transmission range, it is not necessary to provide additional power supply at a remote location, signal transmission cost can be reduced, and a remote AV system can be conveniently operated locally.

摘要： A network device for A/V products having IR remote control has first and second network transmitters connected to a common network media to transmit network packages to each other. The first network transmitter is connected to one A/V terminal and converts IR signals to command packages. The second network transmitter is connected to at least one A/V player and converts command packages to IR signals corresponding to the A/V player. When an IR signal from a IR remote control is sent to the first network transmitter, the second network transmitter will receive the command packages from the first network transmitter and output the same IR signal to an A/V player to control functions of the A/V player. Since network media are being built into houses as the advent of digital home era, the present invention easily integrates all A/V products to make remote control more convenient.

A network coordinator may have a random number generator, with the network coordinator distributing a random number within a network that include at least a first node and a second node. The network coordinator may receive a request for a dynamic encryption key from the first node, with the request being encrypted using a static encryption key unique to the first node, and with the static encryption key being determined based on the distributed random number. The network coordinator may then send a dynamic encryption key to the first node, with the dynamic encryption key being encrypted using the static encryption key. The second node may then admit the first node into the network. The network may be a Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA®) network.

摘要： The use of traffic flag symbols allows a large number of CPEs to transmit traffic notifications to a network controller. In some such embodiments, hundreds of CPEs simultaneously transmit traffic flags on different subcarriers of a channel. For example, in a MoCA2 based access network, up to 480 CPEs can transmit flags in only 5 μs in the 100 MHz-wide channel.
