摘要: Systems and methods implement multi-channel communication by remapping Ethernet frames. An Ethernet frame is captured leaving a first bridge of an Ethernet switch. A destination address of the Ethernet frame is matched to a remap rule and to a filter defined for the remap rule. The destination address of the Ethernet frame is updated based upon the remap rule, and the Ethernet frame is output to an Ethernet port corresponding to the updated destination address of the Ethernet frame. The remap rule and the filter allow the Ethernet switch to route traffic at an OSI model layer-4 level.

摘要: A method including receiving first connection information associated with a first LAN from a first meshnet device and second connection information associated with a second LAN from a second meshnet device; calculating a first range of first subnet IP addresses associated with the first LAN, and a second range of second subnet IP addresses associated with the second LAN; determining, based on comparing the first range and the second range, a conflict that a first subnet IP address assigned to a first LAN device is the same as a second subnet IP address assigned to a second LAN device; mapping, based on determining the conflict, an alternate IP address to correspond with the first subnet IP address; and communicating with the first LAN device based at least in part on utilizing the alternate IP address instead of utilizing the first subnet IP address is disclosed. 摘要: A multistaged packet processor includes a lookup table at each stage. In one configuration, the match criteria in the lookup tables across the stages of a four-stage packet processor allocate 32 bits of space to hold IPv4 addresses and IPv6 addresses. In one configuration, the 32 bits store an entire IPv4 address or a 32-bit segment. An IPv6 address can be stored across the four lookup tables in 32-bit segments. The configuration allows for accommodating the varying key widths presented by IPv4 and IPv6 addresses while at the same time improving storage utilization in the lookup tables.

摘要: Software tables in the control plane of a network device are downloaded into the data plane hardware after a reboot of the control plane. Valid entries are identified and downloaded while reducing the downloading invalid or otherwise unused entries to improve download times and reduce disruption of traffic resulting from the download. In some instances, blocks of entries containing a high ratio of valid to invalid entries are identified and downloaded to the hardware. In some instances, entries in the software tables that differ from corresponding entries in the hardware (diff entries) are identified and downloaded. In some instances, chunks containing diff entries and non-diff entries are identified and downloaded.
