Abstract: A cellular trail camera system is disclosed and includes a housing; a mounting bracket for mounting the camera; a visible sensor; an infrared sensor; and a plurality of Fresnel lenses each operable to be individually mounted to or with the infrared sensor and to focus infrared light to the infrared sensor from a different direction. One of the Fresnel lenses may be mounted to or with the housing during operation. The housing includes a wireless transceiver, which may communicate via a cellular network. The camera may communicate with a wireless communication device via the wireless transceiver. The camera may communicate images and/or video to the wireless device. The infrared sensor may include a plurality of elements. The camera may be powered by a solar cell that is mounted on the camera or remote from the camera. The visible sensor may be activated when the infrared sensor detects a heat-generating object.

Abstract: Provided is an image sensor circuit, including a pixel array and a plurality of different control circuits. The pixel array comprises a plurality of pixel circuit groups arranged in an array. Each pixel circuit group comprises a plurality of pixel circuits that generate corresponding sensitivity values over exposure duration. The pixel circuits include a first quantity of first pixel circuits, and a second quantity of second pixel circuits. The plurality of different control circuits are respectively coupled to different pixel circuits to control the exposure duration thereof with different transmission signals. The different control circuits are also set to control different pixel circuits to output photo-sensed values at different frame rates. The image sensor circuit periodically generates the pixel value of each pixel circuit group according to first and second exposure durations, first and second frame rates, and first and second light sensitivity values of each pixel circuit group.

Abstract: An image capture device is disclosed that includes: a body; first and second image capture devices supported within the body so as to define respective, overlapping first and second fields-of-view; and a thermal spreader. The first image capture device includes a first integrated sensor-lens assembly (ISLA) with a first image sensor and a first lens, and the second image capture device includes a second ISLA with a second image sensor and a second lens. The first lens faces in a first direction, and is positioned to receive and direct light onto the first image sensor, and the second lens faces in a second direction, and is positioned to receive and direct light onto the second image sensor, wherein the second direction is generally opposite to the first direction. The thermal spreader extends between, and is connected to, the first and second ISLAs, and is configured to transfer heat therebetween.

Abstract: One example system comprises a LIDAR sensor that rotates about an axis to scan an environment of the LIDAR sensor. The system also comprises one or more cameras that detect external light originating from one or more external light sources. The one or more cameras together provide a plurality of rows of sensing elements. The rows of sensing elements are aligned with the axis of rotation of the LIDAR sensor. The system also comprises a controller that operates the one or more cameras to obtain a sequence of image pixel rows. A first image pixel row in the sequence is indicative of external light detected by a first row of sensing elements during a first exposure time period. A second image pixel row in the sequence is indicative of external light detected by a second row of sensing elements during a second exposure time period.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an image sensing device, including: an image sensing array, a conversion unit, and a processing circuit. The image sensing array is used to generate sensing signals of different periods. The conversion unit is used to convert the sensing signals from analog to digital. The processing circuit is used to generate a frame during an image capturing operation. The image sensing array includes a plurality of sensing sub-pixels, and the sensing sub-pixels have a sensing circuit and a storage circuit. The sensing circuit generates the sensing signals and sequentially stores the sensing signal in the storage circuit. The storage circuit sequentially outputs the sensing signals to the conversion unit.
