摘要: A method for decoding a 360-degree image includes: receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding a 360-degree image; generating a prediction image by making reference to syntax information obtained from the received bitstream; combining the generated prediction image with a residual image obtained by dequantizing and inverse-transforming the bitstream, so as to obtain a decoded image; and reconstructing the decoded image into a 360-degree image according to a projection format. Here, generating the prediction image includes: checking, from the syntax information, prediction mode accuracy for a current block to be decoded; determining whether the checked prediction mode accuracy corresponds to most probable mode (MPM) information obtained from the syntax information; and when the checked prediction mode accuracy does not correspond to the MPM information, reconfiguring the MPM information according to the prediction mode accuracy for the current block.

摘要: An apparatus of decoding video data can include a prediction mode decoding module to derive a luma intra prediction mode and a chroma intra prediction mode; a prediction size determining module to determine a size of a luma transform unit and a size of a chroma transform unit using transform size information; a reference pixel generating module to generate referential pixels if at least one reference pixel is unavailable; and a reference pixel filtering module adaptively filter the reference pixels of a current luma block based on the luma intra prediction mode and the size of the luma transform unit. The apparatus can further include a prediction block generating module to generate prediction blocks of the current luma block and the current chroma block; and a residual bock generating module to generate residual blocks of the current luma block and the current chroma block.

摘要: An image is divided into rectangular regions each including at least one block row, and the image is divided into rectangular slices or slices to be processed in raster order. In a case where the image is divided into the rectangular slices, based on first information for specifying a rectangular region to be processed first and second information for specifying a rectangular region to be processed last, the rectangular regions in the rectangular slice is specified. Based on the number of blocks in a vertical direction in each of the specified rectangular regions, the number of pieces of information for specifying a start position of coded data of the block row in the rectangular slice is specified. A bitstream in which at least the pieces of information, the first and second information, and the coded data are multiplexed is generated.

One example method includes performing a conversion between a video picture that includes one or more tiles and one or more rectangular slices and a bitstream of the video according to a rule. The rule specifies that, for iteratively determining information about the one or more rectangular slices, a variable indicating a tile index is updated only for slices having indices that are smaller than a value equal to a number of slices in the video picture minus 1.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for decoding an image. A method includes receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding the image; dividing a first coding block into a plurality of second coding blocks; generating a prediction block of a second coding block based on syntax information obtained from the bitstream; and reconstructing the second coding block based on the prediction block and a residual block of the second coding block, the residual block being obtained by performing a dequantization and an inverse-transform on quantized transform coefficients from the bitstream. The first coding block has a recursive division structure. The first coding block is divided based on at least one of a quad tree division, a binary tree division or a triple tree division.

摘要: Various innovations facilitate the use of intra-picture prediction modes such as palette prediction mode, intra block copy mode, intra line copy mode and intra string copy mode by an encoder or decoder when wavefront parallel processing (“WPP”) is enabled. For example, for a palette coding/decoding mode, an encoder or decoder predicts a palette for an initial unit in a current WPP row of a picture using previous palette data from a previous unit in a previous WPP row of the picture. Or, as another example, for an intra copy mode (e.g., intra block copy mode, intra string copy mode, intra line copy mode), an encoder enforces one or more constraints attributable to the WPP, or a decoder receives and decodes encoded data that satisfies one or more constraints attributable to WPP.

The method for encoding images comprises the steps of: deriving a scan type of a residual signal for a current block according to whether or not the current block is a transform skip block; and applying the scan type to the residual signal for the current block, wherein the transform skip block is a block to which transform for the current block is not applied and is specified on the basis of information indicating whether or not transform for the current block is to be applied.
