    摘要: An electronic device includes a receiving unit, a signal processing unit, a transmitting unit, and an audio timing unit. The receiving unit receives audio data and first video data. The signal processing unit generates second video data and a pixel clock signal for playing the second video data according to the first video data. The transmitting unit transmits the second video data, the audio data, the pixel clock signal, and a cycle time stamp (CTS) to a receiver. The audio timing unit generates an internal reference signal adjusts a frequency of the internal reference signal according to a receiving speed of the audio data, and generates the CTS according to the internal reference signal and the pixel clock signal so that the receiver can generate an audio clock signal for playing the audio data according to the pixel clock signal and the CTS.

    摘要: An antenna device includes a housing defining an interior cavity, and an RF antenna situated within the housing. The RF antenna receives high definition television signals broadcast over the air. An MHL connector is mounted on the housing. An external audio or video streaming signal device is coupleable to the MHL connector. An MHL to HDMI converter circuit situated within the interior cavity of the housing receives signals from the external audio or video streaming signal device and processes these signals into an HDMI signal format. The HDMI signals are provided on an HDMI output connector mounted on the housing. RF signals from the RF antenna are provided to an RF coaxial cable connector also mounted on the housing.

    摘要: A system and method are disclosed for performing digital multi-channel decoding of a BTSC composite audio signal. Each subsequent stage of the digital multi-channel decoding process is performed at the lowest sampling rate that yields acceptable performance for that stage. Analog-to-digital conversion of the composite audio signal is performed first to generate a composite digital audio signal. After analog-to-digital conversion, all signal processing may be performed in the digital domain. The composite digital audio signal is digitally filtered to frequency compensate for variations caused by previous stages of processing, including IF demodulation. Digital channel demodulation and filtering are performed to isolate single channels of the composite digital audio signal such as SAP, L−R, and L+R channels. SAP and L−R channels are DBX decoded resulting in corresponding decoded signals using a unique combination of digital filters that are an efficient translation of a corresponding combination of analog filters.

    摘要: A triax transmitter interface for transmitting a video signal on a triax cable comprises a video signal input port, a first modulator for modulating a luminance component of a video signal received at said input port onto a first carrier and a second modulator for modulating a chrominance component of the video signal onto a second carrier, and a triax output port for outputting said modulated carriers to a triax cable. The first modulator is a quadrature modulator adapted to modulate luminance components of two video image lines simultaneously and in quadrature onto said first carrier. A receiver interface has a quadrature demodulator for restoring the luminance component.
