    摘要: A method of controlling aerosol production in an aerosol-generating device is provided, the device including: a heater including a heating element to heat an aerosol-forming substrate, and a power source to provide power to the element, the method including: providing power to the element; and controlling the power provided such that in a first phase, the power is provided to the element such that a temperature of the element increases from an initial temperature to a first target temperature, in a second phase, the power is provided such that the temperature reduces to a second target temperature lower than the first temperature, and in a third phase, the power is provided such that the temperature increases to a third temperature, the first phase being ended in response to the element reaching the first target temperature or at a predetermined time following the element reaching the first target temperature.

    摘要: There is provided a method of controlling aerosol production in an aerosol-generating device, the device comprising: a heater comprising at least one heating element configured to heat an aerosol-forming substrate; and a power source for providing power to the heating element, comprising the steps of: controlling the power provided to the heating element such that in a first phase power is provided such that the temperature of the heating element increases from an initial temperature to a first temperature, in a second phase power is provided such that the temperature of the heating element drops below the first temperature and in a third phase power is provided such that the temperature of the heating element increases again. Increasing the temperature of the heating element during a final phase of the heating process reduces or prevents the reduction in aerosol delivery over time.

A controller receives input electric power and distributes that electric power to the heaters on a time sharing basis. The controller delivers power to the heaters as a function of the total current target, a temperature set point, the current draw of each of the heaters, and stored priority criteria such as heating priorities of the zones, a history of on and off periods for each heater, and distance from the temperature set point.

    摘要: A heated container includes a cup with a heating coil for heating the cup upon the receipt of power. Further included is a timer that is adapted to transmit an activation signal for a predetermined amount of time upon at least the instantaneous receipt thereof. Connected to the timer is a motion sensor for transmitting the activation signal thereto upon the detection of movement of the base and cup. A relay is connected between the timer, heating coil and a battery. The relay is adapted to allow the transmission of power from the battery to the heating coil only during the receipt of the activation signal.
