摘要： A service tool is provided for removal and replacement of vehicle parts. The service tool comprises a base, a lift arm mechanism including a base end in a distal end, the base end being pivotally mounted to the base. A jack is mounted to the base and the lift arm mechanism for pivotally moving the lift arm mechanism to adjust height of the distal end. A vehicle part adaptor is included for receiving a vehicle part to be removed or replaced. A ball and socket joint mounts the vehicle part adaptor to the lift arm mechanism distal end for allowing rotary motion of the vehicle part adaptor relative to the distal end in every direction and adjustable screws adjustably limit movement of the vehicle part adaptor to control attitude of the same.

摘要： An adapter composed of front and rear brackets adjustably mounted on a jack pad has an arcuate recess receiving and supporting the rear flange of a transmission or differential housing and a front bracket with an adjustable plate carrying opposed horizontal straps to be bolted to the front end of the differential or transmission housing and recessed to surround the front end. Bolts sliding in elongated slots accommodate lateral and longitudinal adjustments of the brackets on the jack pad and elevation of a vertical plate carried by the front bracket. A feature of the invention is the rigid mounting support provided for the opposed horizontal straps which prevents shifting of the cradled housing and permits all repair work to be accomplished while a transmission or differential is fixedly supported on the jack.

摘要： An equipment handling device is provided comprising a frame having forward and rearward ends and opposite sides. At least one extensible column structure extends upwardly from the frame. A pair of arm members are rotatably mounted on the column structure adjacent the upper end thereof and are adapted to hold equipment to be worked upon in a fixed position with respect to the arm members. The arm members are pivotable about a horizontal axis such that the equipment can be moved to a selected position for work thereon. A locking mechanism locks the arm members against rotation from the selected position. The device includes upwardly curved portions extending forwardly from the frame such that the device can be pivoted upwardly and forwardly for picking up the equipment to be worked upon.
