摘要： A precision tether adjuster for use with a rebound board, an exercising device including the tether adjuster, and a method for achieving high levels of aerobic exercise in an enjoyable fashion using the device. The device includes a rebound board, and a precision tether adjuster having first strip of hook-and-loop fastening material attached to the rebound board, and a tether having a first end attached to a ball and a second end attached to a second, mating strip of hook-and-loop fastening material. The excess length of the tether is wrapped around the second strip, which is mated horizontally across the first strip at the appropriate vertical level for the user. The length and vertical position of the tether are now optimized to suit the user's requirements, and the tether is secured firmly between the mating strips of hook-and-loop fabric.

摘要： The invention relates to a novel toy which is releasably fastened to a desired part of the user's body, e.g. about the waist or about the thigh of a user via a belt member. Preferably the belt member is adjustable and supports a plurality of padded or cushioned bell members, via a plurality of support straps and protective covering, adjacent a desired portion of the thighs of the user so that the bell members may be bounced into the air, by the user's thigh, to assist the user with developing his/her eye and thigh coordination and/or improve the rhythm of the user. The bell members may have different shapes and/or sizes so that each bell member will generate a unique sound when struck and bounced in the air thereby allowing the user to play music and develop rhythm. The invention also relates to a method of using the bounceable bell toy.

摘要： A training bar to be worn simultaneously by a sighted and a non-sighted runner. The bar comprises a central rod approximately four and one half feet in length having a shock absorber disposed at either end. A belt or harness to be worn around the waist of the runners is attached to each shock absorber with the sighted runner wearing the belt with one end of the bar attached at the rear. The non-sighted runner wears the other belt with the remaining end of the bar attached at the front, so that when the pair are running in tandem they are separated by the length of the training bar. The separation permits both runners to run freely without interfering with one another. A change in the lead runner's speed or direction will be transmitted through the bar to the rear runner. Any shock created by a sudden stop or change in direction will be absorbed by the two shock absorbers.
