摘要： A method for increasing the firmness of a pillowtop or any other soft mattress. The method includes providing a rectangular sheet of cotton fabric material having hook fasteners on one end and loop fasteners on an opposite end to attach the sheet of material around the mattress. The firmness of the mattress is increased by tightly wrapping the sheet of material around the mattress using the fasteners. The sheet of material is sized appropriately to fit entirely around the mattress with overlap. Preferably, the sheet of material is sized and manufactured for wrapping longitudinally around the mattress.

摘要： A set of sheets includes an upper sheet with a top panel and a lower sheet with a bottom panel. In conjunction, the upper and lower sheets are sized, structured and configured to enclose a mattress. A waterproof panel is positioned between the upper sheet and the top of the mattress to protect the mattress from damaging exposure to moisture and liquids, including bodily fluids. In several embodiments, the upper sheet and waterproof panel are removable for washing and changing thereof while the lower sheet remains fitted to the mattress, thereby avoiding the need to lift or move the mattress when changing the sheets. The waterproof panel may be independently removable to selectively control air permeability of the sheets, and particularly the upper sheet. In a further embodiment, a minor waterproof panel is removably attachable in covering relation to a portion of the top surface of the upper sheet to protect the upper sheet and mattress from becoming soiled, and thereby extending the period of time between laundering and changing of the set of sheets.

The dust ruffle comprises: a sheet of dust ruffle material, the sheet of dust ruffle material is long enough to embrace sides of the box spring, a band of flat material, the band of flat material is attached along an upper edge of the dust ruffle material, and a second fastener, the second fastener is secured at inner edges along the upper edge of the band of flat material, the second fastener is spaced in such relation so that the second fastener located on the inner edge of the dust ruffle is securable to the first fastener located on the outer edge of the fitted bed sheet foundation and can then be tucked by a person's fingers a desired distance under the mattress in between the mattress and the box spring thereby providing a fitted bed sheet foundation and dust ruffle that is easy to install and remove on a mattress foundation.
