Abstract:
A small patch of flexible sheet material defines in its medial portion a hole to receive a fastening post of an earring to be carried, by a human earlobe. One surface of the patch is coated with adhesive material to adhere the patch to an earlobe. The adhesive coated surface may be provided with a protective cover for removal prior to patch use. The patch is positionable on one or both sides of a human earlobe with the hole defined in the patch coincident with an earring post hole defined in that earlobe, to reinforce the earlobe tissue about the earring post hole.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide apparatuses for positioning a piece of jewelry and methods of making said apparatuses. The jewelry may include a necklace, bracelet, and/or anklet. The apparatus may be placed over the clasp of a piece of jewelry and then be attached to the skin of the individual wearing the necklace. In this way, the apparatus prevents the movement of the clasp of the piece of jewelry from a desirable location to an undesirable location, where the clasp may detract from the beauty of the piece of jewelry. Further, the apparatus may come in many shapes, sizes, colors, etc., such that the device may provide for a stylish accessory for the individual wearing the device.
Abstract:
A beaded fashion accessory designed in a variety of lengths, such as 1″, 2″, 6″, 12″ and 18″. The beads may be strung on a thread or string in a straight line, or a combination of straight lines or woven into a pattern. They are then applied to the body in a variety of ways as a fashion statement. They are held in place with temporary adhesive. The beaded accessory can be used on any part of the body, such as, but not limited to, the eyelids, cheeks, face, chest, arms, legs, torso, buttocks, etc. of the user. An alternate version of invention may include webbed designs or appliqués that may be fabric, beaded, woven, or other patterned pieces that are applied to the skin with a removable adhesive.
Abstract:
An ornament comprises a decorative element and a hook-and-loop-type fastener for removably attaching the decorative element to a wearer's body. A first portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener has fastening elements extending from one side thereof and an adhesive element is attached to another side. A release paper covers the adhesive element. A second portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener has fastening elements extending from one side thereof and an adhesive element is attached to another side. The adhesive element on the second portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener is removably attachable to a rear portion of the decorative element. Upon removal of the release paper, the adhesive surface of the first portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener is attachable to a wearer's body. After attaching the first portion to the wearer's body, the second portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener is engageable with the first portion to removably engage the decorative element with the wearer's body. Multiple decorative elements and fasteners are provided for use with the ornament. A method of attaching the ornament for removably securing a body-worn ornament to a wearer's body comprises the steps of providing an ornament, removably attaching a hook portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener to a wearer's body and releasably engaging the loop portion of the hook-and-loop-type fastener with the hook portion.
Abstract:
Decorative jewelry which may be worn on the skin of the wearer. The jewelry has a decorative portion and a flexible and resilient pad secured to the back side of the decorative portion by which the jewelry is attached to the skin of the wearer. The decorative portion, in specific embodiments, may be a precious stone or an artificial stone or a look-alike, which in one embodiment changes color in response to the amount of body heat transferred from the wearer.

A small adhesive plastic insert and/or a magnetic insert, mounted in an arm bracelet, a finger ring, a wrist watch or other arm ornament and shaped to conform to the appearance of the bracelet, ring, watch or ornament, permits the wearer of the bracelet, watch or ornament to pick up small objects on flat surfaces without difficulty. The insert is shaped and colored to harmonize with the appearance of the bracelet, ring, watch or ornament. The insert is removably held, for example by a force fit, and may be replaced when dirty.
