Abstract:
A weld button for garments, i.e. a button, snap or interlocking fastener has fastener halves on two parts of a garment which are releasably joined and in which each of the fastener halves is affixed to the garment by welding two parts of the respective fastening half together.
Abstract:
In a fastening device with tape, a synthetic resin first member is integrally molded on front and back surfaces of a tape having at least one attachment hole in such a manner as to hold an entire peripheral edge portion of the attachment hole of the tape and has an opening portion at a center thereof, and then a synthetic resin second member is attached, by molding or the like, to the first member along an inner peripheral surface of at least the opening portion of the first member and has an engaging portion to be engaged with an opposing fastener. By differentiating a material and a color of the first member from that of the second member, various kinds of fastening devices can be efficiently obtained such as a snap fastener, a male and female button, an eyelet, a fastening band which can be freely adjusted to be various kinds of lengths, a hanging device for curtains or the like which can be applied various kinds of functions and colors in comparison with the conventional art and which can be firmly adhered to the tape.
Abstract:
A garment fastener, especially for brassieres, with a press-button action and configuration, utilizes a pair of circular members welded to the garment and through which the fabric is visible and a circular member attached to the strap and forming a press connection with either of the two circular members attached to the fabric. The members have prongs which are engaged in the fabric of the garment and are welded to the member on the opposite side of the fabric.
Abstract:
A brassiere back closure can have flat circular injection molded male and female fastener halves connectable in a hook-and-eye fashion on respective tapes partly covered by brushed knitted strips and designed to be pulled apart for opening of the closure.
Abstract:
A fastening system including a two-part laterally adjustable fastener comprised of an apertured base and a headed elongated member. The head of the member is captivated in a recess in the base as the base is welded to an article. Complementary surface formations are formed on the base and the article to facilitate positioning of the base on the article during a welding operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hot melt adhesive attachment pad for releasably securing distinct elements together and particularly useful in the construction industry or a spatial vacuum environment. The attachment pad consists primarily of a cloth 11 selectively impregnated with a charge of hot melt adhesive 12, a thermo-foil heater 13 and a thermo-cooler 14. These components are securely mounting in a mounting assembly 17 and 18. In operation, the operator activates the heating cycle transforming the hot melt adhesive to a substantially liquid state, positions the pad against the attachment surface, and activates the cooling cycle solidifying the adhesive and forming a strong, releasable bond.
Abstract:
This invention is a dual element, plastic snap fastener assembly for bags, raincoats, cartons, portfolios and the like. Each fastener element in the assembly is sealed to one side of its supporting material with its coupling member, i.e. a stud or socket, projecting through an aperture in the material to the other side of the material where the coupling member is interengaged by the cooperating member of the other element in the assembly.
