摘要： A padlock cover assembly for use in latching and locking doors includes a cover with a peripheral wall. The cover is pivotally mounted to a pivot base which is pivotally mounted to a first door member by a pivot pin. The cover is pivotal relative to the pivot base into and out of covering relationship with a padlock supported by its shackle on a padlock mounting bracket secured to the second door member. A pawl is formed on the cover and sized and positioned such that the pawl is advanceable between the shackle and an upper surface of a padlock body when the cover is advanced into covering relationship with the padlock supported on the mounting bracket in an unlocked condition. The cover is then pivotable about the pivot pin such that a portion of the peripheral wall of the cover engages a bottom of the padlock body advancing the padlock body toward the shackle and into a closed condition. As the cover is pivoted to advance the padlock to the closed condition, the pawl extends into interlocking engagement with the shackle of the padlock. An access opening is formed in the peripheral wall of the cover to provide access to a keyhole in the padlock.

摘要： A device is adapted for use primarily as a theft deterrent for bicycles, mopeds and other two and three wheeled self propelled or motorized conveyances, said device comprises a pair of opposed, telescopically engaging U-shaped members and locking means associated with said members, securing them from being forcibly pulled apart. The locking means typically includes the use of a pawl and ratchet arrangement for facilitating the engagement of the two members for securing them in locking relationship. The device also includes a compressible and extendible rubber or elastomeric boot preferably in the form of bellows. This boot provides a protective cover around ratchet teeth that are longitudinally spaced along one of the arms of the two U-shaped members. The boot progressively surrounds the ratchet teeth as the rod is disengaged or withdrawn from the sleeve. The cover serves to prevent damage to the individual ratchet teeth, and in addition, provides a level of protection from scratching, chipping or marring the paint or other finish on the bicycle, etc. and injury to persons utilizing or otherwise coming into contact with the security device.

It has been invented to include two virtually symmetrical segments of a pair of locking bar fasteners, where the flat end of each segment, opposite to the end fastened to the container door locking bar, will be fixed to one of the two virtually symmetrical segments of a padlock shroud. There is also a separation-prevention unit which prevents the shroud from being separated and eliminates the gap between the two segments when they are joined, in order to prevent a bolt cutter from being able to be inserted into the padlock shackle.

The first end is pivotally coupled to the locking arm mount such that the arm is selectively positionable between a first position extending away from the frame and a second position extending across the door. A loop is attached to the arm and is positioned generally adjacent to the second end of the arm. A lock mount is fixedly attached to a second side of the doorframe and is positioned for removably receiving the loop. A lock may be positioned in the cylinder and positioned on the loop for selectively locking the arm in the second position.

摘要： An anti-theft device is constituted by an elongated rod of a width less than the gap between a window glass pane and a facing inner edge of a window sill for an automobile door interior panel. A shield plate is fixed to and extends radially outward to one side of the rod at a distal end, and a wedge is fixed to and extends alongside the rod adjacent the proximate end, with the wedge having a thickness greater than the width of the gap and tapering over its length to a tapered leading edge facing the trailing edge of the shield plate. By inserting the shield plate into the interior of the door within the gap and twisting the rod about the axis, the wedge is forced into frictional locking position between the inside of the window glass pane and the window sill, with the shield plate covering the door mechanism actuating lever.

摘要： A plurality of walls form a housing cavity in which a latch hasp is received. An opening in the housing receives therethrough the latch hasp, the latch enclosing the cavity. The bolt seal has a shank with a head at one end or with a U-shaped bight in a second embodiment. The head engages a housing wall and a locking body engages and locks to the shank at a shank end distal the head. The shank between the head and lock body is fully enclosed by the housing and latch to preclude access to the shank by tampering tools. In a second embodiment, the shank bight engages the received hasp of a latch. The shank distal the bight is locked to the housing by a locking body. The latch depends into and encloses the housing cavity open at the top. The shank between the bight and the locking body is fully enclosed in the cavity. Different housings are disclosed wherein the head may be enclosed or exposed for access by a shank breaking tool. A reusable bolt and locking body is disclosed for use with several embodiments.
