    摘要: A locking device for flaps or doors that are pivotable in or on a frame or housing. The invention in particular includes a door or flap lock that serves as a protection against collisions of objects and/or persons with moving or rotating machine parts, with the possibility of unlocking said door or flap lock by manual operation. The locking device includes a movable bolt disposed on the pivotable flap or door with said bolt being manually operable via a lever, handle, or knob and interlocking with a receiving opening for the bolt that is disposed on the frame. The bolt includes several engagement elements for interlocking with a housing- or frame-anchored receiving element, with said engagement elements arranged along the direction of the bolt's longitudinal axis, which approximately corresponds to the direction of movement of the bolt on opening or closing the pivotable flap or door. The interlocking engagement and receiving elements make it necessary at least on opening the flap or door to repeatedly operate the lever, handle, or knob in at least two opposite directions of movement, pivot, or turning, thus delaying any opening movement, leaving enough time for another, previously already initiated or actuated safety device to put a stop on rotating and/or moving parts of the machine. In addition, the invention relates to a securing device for a working area of a machine having movable and/or rotating parts.

    摘要: A locking assembly for a swinging door of a container. The locking assembly includes an axially elongated lock rod having cam structure at opposed ends thereof. The lock rod is provided, toward each end thereof, with axially spaced radial projections which are axially fixed relative to the lock rod and define a channel therebetween. The locking assembly further includes a pair of guide plates; with each guide plate rotatably accommodating a lengthwise portion of the lock rod between the plate and the door. Each guide plate further includes structure for allowing each plate to be fastened to the door. After each guide plate is fastened to the door, a portion of each plate is entrapped between the axially spaced radial projections on the lock rod whereby inhibiting axial shifting movements of the lock rod.

    摘要: The Container-Locking Device with respect to this particular invention has been designed to fasten the locking upright bar of one door of a container to another. It has been invented to include two virtually symmetrical segments of a pair of locking bar fasteners, where the flat end of each segment, opposite to the end fastened to the container door locking bar, will be fixed to one of the two virtually symmetrical segments of a padlock shroud. There is also a separation-prevention unit which prevents the shroud from being separated and eliminates the gap between the two segments when they are joined, in order to prevent a bolt cutter from being able to be inserted into the padlock shackle.

The system according to the present invention comprises a releasable keeper that secures a door locking mechanism to keep a door secured to an enclosure in a locked position. A release mechanism that is operated from the interior of the enclosure releases the releasable keeper from the enclosure and enable the door to be opened and prevents people from becoming trapped within the enclosure by a locked door. In an exemplary embodiment, the release mechanism is operated by a lever that operates a pulley system to disengage the release mechanism from the releasable keeper.

    摘要: Two embodiments of a guard are provided for protecting a padlock securing stanchion levers in their door locking position. An opening in the front wall of the guard permits its use with padlocks having long shackles as well as those with regular length shackles while retaining the compactness not normally retained for the extended length of the shackles. The preferred construction lock guard has a pitched roof and a pair of legs on its laterally outer sides extending downwardly behind the stanchion lever at laterally opposite sides of the stanchion latching mechanism that increase stability, rigidity of the housing and protection of the latches.

    摘要: An automatic gate closer latch for use in centrally securing a commercial or industrial swinging gate to a stationary fence post, especially useful in the farming and ranching applications, includes a gate catcher assembly mounted on a swivel bolt, complete with directional pressure finders, a bearing tensioner assembly consisting of a bearing tensioner plate, a roller bearing, a tension spring and mounting hardware. The said gate latch catcher assembly is a flat bar segment composed of three right angled bends designed similar to open fingers, to catch the oncoming protruded gate edge post. The directional pressure fingers incorporated in the opposite ends of the gate catcher finger assembly allows the spring tension assembly to maximize its distance in the central neutral position thus causing an automatic closed latch phenomenon. Above normal pressure from an implement on either side of the gate will promote the fingers to open allowing the gate to swing open. The bearing tension assembly consists of a tension spring encircling an all thread bolt promoting pressure to the end roller bearing, all mounted perpendicular to the gate catcher assembly in a sliding tensioning phenomenon through two angle irons mounted on the flat bar mounting irons.
