The pilot valve supplies output gas to a process control valve and has an adjustable biasing member for applying an adjustable force to a pilot plug in a pilot body interior. 摘要: A self-contained tank filling fitting having dual operation wherein the fitting may be used with a gravity fluid supply system or a pressurized fluid supply system. The fitting includes an elbow having an upper end closed by a removable cap, and a pressurized filling port located in the bend of the elbow aligns with a tank port to reduce resistance to pressurized fluid filling. An automatic differential pressure valve controlled by a float operated vent automatically closes the pressurized filling port upon the tank being filled.

摘要: In an automatic valving device, the combination comprises a container, an exhaust valve mounted in a lower portion of the container, an arrangement for actuating the exhaust valve, a pilot valve mounted in an upper portion of the container and coupled to the actuating arrangement, and an elongated guideway extending generally between the pilot valve and the exhaust valve. A float is movably mounted on the guideway and is operatively coupled to the pilot valve. The float is movable along a length of the guideway between an upper pilot valve opened position and a lower pilot valve closing position. Magnetic members are mounted on the guideway and the float respectively. At least one of the magnetic members is magnetized, and the magnetic members are shaped for magnetically attractive engagement therebetween. The magnetic members are disposed so as to effect such engagement at the lower float position to provide a snap action for the float upon removal of the float from its lower position toward its upper position.In a specific arrangement, a valve closure for the pilot valve can be provided with an assymmetric portion so that the valve closure is removed with a prying action to multiply the mechanical advantage of the valving device. In another arrangement the upper and lower float positions are sufficiently and spatially separated so that the float impactingly engages the pilot valve closure adjacent the upper position of the float to enhance the mechanical advantage of the valving device.

摘要: An automatic valving device, comprises a receiver for liquid, an elongated float structure disposed generally vertically in the receiver and including an upper float portion positioned in an upper region of the receiver and a lower float portion positioned in a lower region of the receiver, inlet and outlet port means for the receiver, and discharge valve means for the receiver coupled to the outlet port means. The float structure is coupled to the outlet port means and to the discharge valve means for opening and closing the discharge valve means for opening and closing the discharge valve means in response to changes in liquid level in the receiver. Biasing means are coupled to the discharge valve means for urging the discharge valve means to its closed position. The buoyancy of the float structure lower portion although submerged is insufficient to overcome the biasing means and to open the discharge valve means when closed, and the buoyancy of the float structure lower portion when fully submerged together with the buoyancy of the float structure upper portion when at least partially submerged is sufficient to overcome the biasing means and to open the discharge valve means at an upper limit level of liquid in the receiver. The total weight of the float structure and of the coupling thereof to the discharge valve means in conjunction with the biasing means is capable of closing the discharge valve means at a lower limit level of liquid in the receiver against the buoyancy of the float structure lower portion when at least partially submerged.
