    摘要: A method and component for repairing broken conduit ends extending from concrete foundations is disclosed. The method and component for repairing broken conduit ends of this invention eliminates the need to break up the concrete foundation around the broken conduit end. The specialized repair components include a reaming bit for milling out and turning down the inside wall of the broken conduit end and repair coupling for joining a new section of conduit to the broken conduit end. The reaming bit is designed to be used with any conventional handheld power drill. The reaming bit mills out the inside of the broken conduit end so that the repair coupling can be inserted into the broken conduit end. With the coupling fitted into the broken conduit end, a new section of conduit can be connected completing the repair. Because the coupling is inserted into the broken end of the conduit instead of over it, the concrete foundation around the conduit does not have to be disturbed providing a structurally more secure repair.

    摘要: The combination of a lawn mower assembly and a clamp assembly. The lawn mower assembly has a housing defining a cutting chamber, a shaft journalled for rotation in the housing around an axis, and a cutting blade that is selectively a) releasably attached to the shaft to rotate with the shaft in a predetermined path around the shaft axis and b) separable from the shaft as to facilitate reconditioning or replacement of the cutting blade. The clamp assembly includes a first jaw having a first surface and a second jaw having a second surface. The second jaw is movable relative to the first jaw between i) a first relative position wherein the first and second surfaces are spaced from each other a first distance and ii) a second relative position wherein the first and second surfaces are spaced from each other a second distance that is less than the first distance. The second jaw is movable relative to the first jaw between the first and second relative positions by guided movement of the second jaw relative to the first jaw. One of the first and second jaws has a blocking surface thereon. The clamp assembly can be situated in an operative position on the lawn mower assembly wherein, with the second jaw in the second relative position, the first and second jaws captively, grippingly engage the housing and the blocking surface resides in the predetermined path of the cutting blade to thereby prevent free rotation of the cutting blade relative to the housing.

Using the disclosed process and device, damaged vehicular body elements may be easily removed and replaced. A first body element and damaged second body element attached thereto by means of stamped rivets are separated and the damaged second body element replaced by a third body element. Process steps include forcing out an old stamped rivet, restoring a stamped rivet area on a first body element, placing a third body element in position, and punching and riveting the third body element and the first body element. A device related to the disclosed process includes pneumatically compressible tong arms for holding tool inserts. A variety of tool inserts are adapted for forcing out an old rivet, restoring stamped area in the first body element and punching hole and stamping a countersink in the third body element. The disclosed process and device simplify the repair of vehicular body damage by providing means to remove damaged elements and attach new elements without generating steel shavings and the associated risk of contact corrosion.
