    摘要: An anti-kickback saw chain including a plurality of links each having an upstream end and a downstream end relative to a direction of travel of the chain is provided. The anti-kickback saw chain comprises a holding link having a first side and a second side, a replaceable tooth adapted to be removably mounted on the downstream end of the holding link, and a safety drive link. The upstream end of the safety drive link is pivotally connected to the downstream end of the first side of the holding link. The safety drive link includes a safety lobe effective to prevent the tooth from being dislodged from the holding link during chain travel, and a substantially flat upper edge.

An open circumferential gutter 5 is located inboard of the teeth and is recessed into a lateral face of the disc. Fluid in the gutter drains into the passageways through the respective inlets under the apparent force due to rotation. A fluid passageway 9 runs between the gutter and the base of the each tooth. The fluid is thereby forced through the passageway and out of outlet 11.

    摘要: A concaved saw blade for tree felling apparatus adapted to be rotatably actuated through its center. The blade is inclined relative to the ground and is moved forwardly in a horizontal plane towards the tree to be cut. Saw teeth are adapted to be removeably mounted on the periphery of a rotatable saw blade of the flat or concave type. The teeth per se are made of a square head and a shaft extending rearwardly. The shaft is adapted to slide in a sleeve axially welded on the periphery of the saw blade. The shaft is adapted to be mounted in the sleeve in four different positions so that the head which is square and has a concave front face can make use of each of the four cutting edges surrounding the head for cutting trees.
