摘要： An improved offset saw blade mounting assembly for use on a reciprocating power saw tool includes a shim member that is used to fill a central slot of the tool drive shaft. The shim member fills the slot and serves to reinforce the drive shaft and thereby reduce the likelihood of the drive shaft failing. The shim member may be a separate piece, or formed as part of a separate tubular insert, or integrally formed with the mounting block of the offset mounting assembly. A finger guard is also provided that substantially closes off any opening which may occur between the mounting assembly and the power tool.

摘要： A hydraulically powered cutting tool includes a blade holder for securing a piece of cutting material during the shearing process. The assembly includes a tool head having a receiving area for the blade holder. A powered actuator is attached to the tool head adjacent the receiving area for actuating a moving blade. The moving blade includes a first end attached to the powered actuator and a second end with a cutting surface facing a fixed blade. The blade holder is attached to the tool head and includes an arcuate bottom surface adjacent the receiving area at a first end and a sleeve at a second end. The fixed cutting blade is received in the sleeve and includes a cutting surface disposed facing the moving blade.

The upper forming plate has a raised downwardly facing contact surface that is encircled by the upper binder plate. A tool package is formed when the upper and lower adaptors are abuttingly engaged along the downwardly and upwardly facing contact surfaces. The tool package can be removed from the press and a new or different tool package can be inserted. A rack and pinion lift mechanism is integrated below the lower adaptor, to allow the tool package to be raised to a height high enough for removal from the press machine.

Washers including a fourth outer diameter and a hole having a fifth diameter, are provided. The first diameter may be greater than the third diameter, the second diameter may be greater than the fifth diameter, and the fourth diameter may be greater than the first diameter, such that, when the washer is disposed under the fastener head, the washer prevents the head from entering the hole in the cross member, and facilitates translation of cavities parallel to the baseboard.

The side opposite the first side and one of the adjacent sides are provided with at least one fixed stirrup (10, 11, 12, 13, 14) disposed so that portions of the edge of the cutting plate (7) can be slid into the said fixed stirrups and be gripped under the moving stirrups in the clamping position.

The biasing unit provides a biasing force that pivots the pivot seat to the first position. The actuating unit provides a pressing force on the push rod to push the pivot seat to pivot to the second position so as to permit release of the saw blade.

摘要： A steel rule die for cutting cloth and synthetic materials. The cutting die includes a primary substrate and a plurality of cutting units that are removably attachable to the substrate in such a manner that they are easy to adjust, remove and replace. The cutting units include secondary substrates with lengths of steel rule attached to them. The cutting units are secured to the primary substrate. Each steel rule is fixedly attached to a secondary substrate that is substantially harder than the primary substrate. The secondary substrate distributes the cutting load applied to the rule over a large surface area on the primary substrate to prevent the cutting units from diving into the soft primary substrate. Substantially the entire length of the steel rule is supported by the secondary substrate, thereby yielding a rigid cutting unit that is not susceptible to deformation. The cutting units can also include bent internal cutting sections and adjustable and removable internal cutting units that allow scrap material to flow through the cutting die. Moreover, the secondary substrates can include openings for reducing the overall weight of the die without effecting the support it provides to the steel rule.
