Abstract:
The present invention refers to an apparatus for treating and preparing food having a cooking chamber in which the food is treated and cooked. The apparatus further includes a motor-driven ventilation fan which serves to circulate the cooking chamber atmosphere, and a gas burner which serves for combusting the gas-air mixture. The cooking chamber is heated by use of a heat exchange device which includes a heat exchange pipe assembly. The heat exchange device surrounds the ventilation fan. The heat exchange pipe assembly is characterized in that at least two pipe strands are provided which extend substantially around the ventilation wheel in a continuous bordering or loop of the ventilation wheel. The subject matter of the present invention is also a heat exchange device for an apparatus of this type.
Abstract:
A chafer comprising a support frame, a food service pan, a cover, a cover pivoting assembly, a cover mounting assembly and a cover damper assembly. The cover has a peripheral edge and is pivotably mounted on the support frame by the cover pivoting assembly. The support frame supports the pan under the cover. The cover mounting assembly releasably mounts the cover to the cover pivoting assembly to enable the cover to be pivoted about a horizontal axis from a fully closed position to an intermediate, partially open position and to a fully open position, and vice versa. The cover is arranged to be automatically held in the fully closed, partially open or fully open positions by the mere movement of the cover to any of those positions.
Abstract:
The present invention is a transparent dessert cover designed to shield confections, such as cakes, from germs resulting particularly from those attempting to blow out candles, while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the cake. In the preferred mode, the cover is constructed of freezer-proof plastic material, and molded in the shape of a particular confection, such as a round or rectangular birthday cake. The upper portion of the cover contains recessed holes to accommodate a predetermined number of candles, as well as at least one slot in which a celebratory message such as nullHappy Birthdaynull may be inserted. Importantly, individual letters are provided for the user to spell out particular names or messages, as desired. Finally, a sturdy, attachable bottom piece is provided with the cover to facilitate transportation and storage of the cake.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hinge assembly for a door of a kimchi storage device which mounts a door opening and closing a storage chamber of the kimehi storage device on the upper surface of a body. There is provided an integral hinge assembly for a door of a kimchi storage device which can prevent the impact during door opening and closing operations and can prevent the damage of the door by interconnecting: a cover plate fixed to a body; a hinge housing in which there are inserted an elastic means, a support plate backing up the elastic means, a control plate controlling a springback force and a support member connected to the elastic means and supporting a force between the elastic means and a press member; a turn member connected with the press member and fixed to the door.
Abstract:
Food preparation apparatus including a housing having a top wall and a front wall. Each wall having an aperture defined therein. A passageway for warming and storing pre-packaged food products extends from an entrance at the top wall aperture to an exit at the front wall aperture. A plurality of chutes are formed within the passageway for channeling the food products from the entrance to the exit. A plurality of electrical elements for warming the food products to preselected temperature surround each chute. The warming elements maintain the food products at a preselected temperature until they are removed from the housing.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to apparatus (1) for distributing fluid within an autoclave (2). The invention is suitable for use in applications in which the autoclave (2) is used to cook or sterilise food or beverages.
Abstract:
Said machine is intended for the food industry for the sterilization of products (88) by applying high pressures at 4,000 bars. The machine includes a chamber (1) which adopts a horizontal position and has input/output mouths (5) on both ends. The plugs (6) for closing said chamber (1) are placed on a fixed yoke (4) in relation to which the chamber (81) can move transversally in the opening position so that the chamber can be inserted in the transport line (7) of the products (8) to be processed in such a way that the loading of a batch of products to be processed and the unloading of products already processed take place simultaneously once the chamber (1) has been inserted into said line (7). Transversal displacement of the chamber (1) into the yoke (4) makes it possible to close and pressurize the chamber.
Abstract:
A stopper including a collection receptacle, characterized in that the stopper is provided with a valve that permits flow of sediments into said collection receptacle, wherein said valve may be closed to substantially trap said sediments in said collection receptacle and obstruct flow therefrom.
Abstract:
Multi-use device for domestic use, and particularly for the children's feeding, including steam generating (20) and supplying (23, 24, 25) means, operating means (30, 31, 32, 33), a working container (1) where it can be set alternatively: food products mincing means (6, 206), containing means (5) for the steam cooking of food products, and supporting means (203) for the steam sterilization of items such as baby's bottles or the like, being houseable within said container steam diffusion means (102, 3), said steam diffusion means including a diffusion device (3) communicating with said steam supplying means (23, 24), able to support both the containing means (5) for the food products steam cooking, and the support means (203) of the items destined to the sterilization.
Abstract:
