摘要： In an embodiment, an automatic food preparation and serving method comprises: releasing, from one or more magazines in a storage apparatus, a plurality of food canisters, each loaded with a different ingredient of a human consumable dish or meal, onto a canister transportation mechanism under program control by one or more digital electronic processors; transporting, using the canister transportation, the plurality of food canisters to a food dispensing mechanism under program control of the one or more processors; retrieving, using a bowl placement apparatus, a bowl from a bowl dispensing apparatus and placing the bowl on a bowl orientation mechanism below the food dispensing mechanism under program control of the one or more processors; dispensing, using the food dispensing mechanism, the ingredient of the human consumable dish or meal from the plurality of food canisters into the bowl under program control of the one or more processors; removing the plurality of food canisters using a canister removing apparatus into a bin using gravity.

摘要： The cabinet is for use at a food tray assembly station. It includes a repositioning system for repositioning food tray items disposed in a storage compartments on a shelf. This system includes a transversally-disposed push plate that is slidably engaged inside a corresponding one of the storage compartments and that is longitudinally movable along the food tray item path. It also includes an elongated and longitudinally-disposed pull strip that is slidably mounted inside the corresponding one of the storage compartments. A one-way locking device is interposed between the push plate and the pull strip to incrementally move the push plate in a forward direction upon moving the pull strip from the retracted position towards the extended position. The system can reposition a row of food tray items quickly and efficiently.

A reflective layer, a vacuum-sealed thermal insulator and/or a gas more resistant to conducting heat than air is disposed between the inner and outer walls to resist the transfer of heat from the inner wall to the outer wall.

By forming the operation unit including a microcomputer for communication on the drawer body 2, it becomes possible to increase the ceiling height of the drawer body 2, increase the ceiling height and capacity of the heating chamber 3, and enlarge the height limitation of an object to be cooked. An illuminating light source 25 disposed on the door 2a of the drawer body 2 can also receive power supply via the arrangement described above to illuminate food loaded in the drawer body 2.

In one embodiment, the coupling assembly comprises a magnetic assembly including a magnet secured to the shelf and magnetically coupled to the housing. Preferably, the magnetic assembly further comprises a magnet holder secured to the shelf, wherein the magnet is secured to the holder. In this embodiment, the magnet can be secured to the magnet holder by an intermediate material (e.g., plastic) positioned between the magnet and the magnet holder. The coupling assembly preferably includes a bracket that is positioned in an opening in the shelf. For example, the bracket can include an upper protrusion that engages an upper surface of the shelf and a lower protrusion that engages a lower surface of the shelf.
