摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture for a modular luggage frame are disclosed and described. An example luggage includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion includes: a first side including a first rib and a second rib; and a second side including a third rib and a fourth rib, the first rib and the third rib forming a first pair of ribs and the second rib and the fourth rib forming a second pair of ribs. The second portion includes: a third side including a fifth rib; a fourth side including a sixth rib, the fifth rib and the sixth rib forming a third pair of ribs. The third pair of ribs aligns with a selected one of the first pair of ribs or the second pair of ribs to removably affix the first portion to the second portion to form the modular luggage frame.

摘要: Process of making a plastic component (1), in particular luggage shell, from self-reinforced thermoplastic material, to a plastic component (1) made of self-reinforced thermoplastic material and an apparatus for making such a plastic component, in particular luggage shell (7). The invention provides a new product and process for manufacturing same on the basis of self-reinforced thermoplastic material by means of the step of tensioning said material (lamina), at least partially tensioning said lamina during all follow-up component shaping and/or molding steps up to a release of a component pre-form shape from the remainder lamina, to form the component. The present invention allow the manufacturing of an ultra-light weight luggage shell (7) on the basis of using self-reinforced thermoplastic material, the manufacturing of same can be further enhanced by permanently tensioning said material during all manufacturing steps up to the final finishing of the product.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a luggage formed by composite material includes the steps: A) using a vacuum molding method to make a thermoplastic sheet into a shell; B) placing the shell in an inner cavity mold area of a heating mold to correspond the outer surface of the shell to the inner wall surface of the inner cavity mold area; C) setting the outer surface of the thermosetting carbon fiber plastic layer on the inner surface of the shell ; D) setting the reinforcing layer on the inner surface of the thermosetting carbon fiber plastic layer at the location corresponding to the corner of the shell; and E) placing an airbag in the receiving area of the shell and inflating the airbag to support the inner surface of the thermosetting carbon fiber plastic layer and the reinforcing layer.

摘要: Describe herein are methods of constructing fashion accessories using modular origami folding techniques adapted to incorporate a broad range of flexible material. By incorporating and adapting modular origami units, such as Sonobe units, a variety of fashion accessories can be produced. Improved methods of assembling such units into including fashion accessories, further incorporate attachment mechanisms to allow for more robust construction in a fixed and durable state. A variety of fashion accessory designs produced by the described processes are presented.

摘要: A suitcase and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. An upper case shell and a lower case shell are obtained, and a flexible material is fixedly connected to the upper case shell and the lower case shell. When the suitcase is assembled, elastic parts are compressed to install two ends of rods on installation parts of the upper case shell and the lower case shell, and a resilience force from the elastic parts is applied to the rods to drive the upper case shell and the lower case shell to be away from each other, and the flexible material connected to the upper case shell and the lower case shell is driven by the upper case shell and the lower case shell to be tensioned.
