In order to enable a changeover of the wet cleaning device from a wiping operation to a regeneration operation in a particularly convenient and time-saving manner, according to the invention, the wet cleaning device has a first cover element and a second cover element which, based on a circumferential direction of the cleaning roller, can be moved in opposition to each other in order to seal and/or to expose the opening region from opposite circumferential directions.

    摘要： An apparatus with a main unit, a dispenser, a clamp and a clamp structure. The main unit includes a housing, a battery in the housing, a motor in the housing and connected to the battery, and an output drive shaft driven by the motor. The dispenser includes a body that defines a body aperture and which has a reservoir for storing a fluid, and a nozzle in fluid communication with the reservoir. The dispenser is configured to permit the stored fluid to be dispensed from the reservoir through the nozzle. The clamp is coupled to either the main unit or the dispenser and includes a pivotable engagement member. The clamp structure is coupled to the other one of the main unit and the dispenser and includes a second engagement member that can be releasably engaged to the engagement member. The housing is received through the body aperture.

    摘要： A portable power operated surface cleaning device comprising a handle assembly, a hollow generally cylindrical roller supported for rotation on and relative to the handle assembly, and an absorbent generally cylindrical applicator sleeve coaxially supported on said roller for rotation therewith. The roller is driven by an electrical motor contained within it and powered by a rechargeable battery also supported within the roller. Operation of the motor is controlled by a rotary electrical switch which includes a pair of magnetically responsive electrical switch contacts contained within the roller and a magnetic switch actuator mounted on the handle assembly. A reservoir assembly releasably secured to the handle assembly contains a supply of cleaning solution which is released from the reservoir assembly for gravity flow through passageways in the handle assembly and onto the applicator sleeve along a substantial portion of the axial length of the applicator sleeve in response to operation of a manually controlled valve associated with the reservoir assembly. A manually operated wringer supported on the handle assembly is movable into squeezing engagement with the applicator sleeve to expell waste liquid from the applicator sleeve which is collected and stored within a waste liquid container associated with the handle assembly.

    摘要： Portable polishers and buffs are provided for surface preparation or for surface repair of substrates such as sheet aluminum. The polisher and buffs are particularly well suited for restoring the polished finish of aluminum aircraft skin that has been dulled by normal use and to repair blemishes on polished aluminum that occur during handling and fabrication. Elongated polishing rolls or buffs counter-rotate such that one polishing buff rotates in a clockwise direction about its elongated axis and another polishing buff rotates in a counterclockwise direction about its elongated axis. The buffs, which include a plurality of fabric disks that are axially compacted and secured onto a disposable sleeve, provide a buff having substantially enhanced polishing attributes. A universal mount assembly is also provided to facilitate use of the portable polisher in combination with a power-assisted lift assembly.
