摘要: The embodiments include a primary frame (10) supported by two wheels (50), and connected to a towing vehicle via a tow bar (18). A cylindrical brush assembly (1) is mounted on a secondary frame (12), which rotates around the primary frame. The brush rotation is driven by an electric motor (110, 220) attached to the secondary frame. The brush rotation goes counter to the wheels' rotation. The amount of pressure between the brush and the ground is controlled by the length of a spring (23) that links the two frames. In one embodiment, the brush axis forms an angle (280) with the wheels' rotation axis, and the debris gets pushed to the side as the sweeper moves forward. In another embodiment, the brush axis is parallel to the wheels' rotation axis and the debris is driven around the brush by a wrap-around guide (100), into a hopper (140).

The working device includes a brush for detachment of extraneous material from the surface, a blower configured to provide an underpressure for a suction of the detached material into the air flow from the surface, and a cyclone configured to separate material from the air flow. The blower is configured to provide an overpressure and return of the separated air to the surface. The brush is configured to rotate counter-wise to a forward movement direction of the working device. The working device is configured such that the spot is treated in the following order: the blower provides the underpressure for the suction of the detached materials, the counter-rotating brush brushes the spot, and the blower provides the overpressure and return of the separated air to the surface via an air-knife.

摘要: A sweeper vehicle may have an automatic side broom strike pattern positioning system including a plurality of actuators (e.g., pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or powered leadscrew) and a plurality of sensors (e.g., inclinometers and position sensors). The strike pattern may be maintained at a desired position as the side broom moves to different positions in a range of movement between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position. The system may have an override feature by which a vehicle operator may interrupt the automatic side broom positioning to allow the vehicle operator to take direct control of one or more side brooms, including the broom deployment angle and broom pitch and roll to create desired strike patterns for the side brooms. Related methods are also described.

摘要: An outdoor surface treating apparatus having a body having a handle and a head arranged to be removably connected with an accessory tool assembly. The head includes a first engagement arrangement for releasably engaging with a second engagement arrangement in the accessory tool assembly. A drive unit, arranged in the head, includes a first coupling member for drivingly coupling with a second coupling member in the accessory tool assembly. The first engagement arrangement is fixed. The second engagement arrangement is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The accessory tool assembly includes a biasing element for biasing the second engagement arrangement into the extended position. As the accessory tool assembly is aligned with the head, in particular when the first engagement arrangement is aligned with the second engagement arrangement, and is moved along a movement axis into engagement with the head, the second engagement arrangement first moves over the first engagement arrangement against the bias then returns to the extended position and locks with the first engagement arrangement while the first coupling member couples with the second coupling member.
