摘要: The present invention provides a paste-like composition for dental use that shows stable consistency and runniness and little stringiness immediately after production and even after long storage. The present invention relates to a paste-like composition for dental use, comprising a polymerizable monomer (A) and a filler (B), the filler (B) comprising a particulate filler (B-1) having an average primary particle diameter of 0.001 to 0.2 μm, and a filler (B-2) having an average primary particle diameter of more than 0.2 μm and 30 μm or less, the paste-like composition having a consistency of 15 to 40 mm, the particulate filler (B-1) having an average secondary particle diameter of 20 μm or less.

摘要: A method for masking the appearance of a support structure underlying a highly translucent ceramic dental restoration s provided. The porous form of a zirconia ceramic dental restoration is treated with a liquid masking composition comprising 0.4 wt % to 50 wt % of one or more masking agents. The masking composition is applied to the internal surface of a restoration and a region of the facial surface of the restoration that is opposite the internal surface. After application of the masking compositions, treated zirconia restoration is sintered to greater than 98% theoretical density.

摘要: The endodontic point containing ultrasonic deformable material is a filler for root canal therapy that decreases in viscosity when subjected to ultrasonic waves. Once the point is inserted into a prepared tooth space, such as a prepared and cleaned root canal, the point is subjected to ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic waves cause the viscosity of the point to lower, thus allowing the point to flow into voids in the tooth space and allow air to escape from the voids. The point then hardens and remains in the shape acquired when at low viscosity once application of the ultrasonic waves is stopped.

摘要: A method of fabricating a dental restoration is provided that includes the initial step of providing a powder of a dental material. An amount of a binder is then selectively deposited onto the powder of the dental material to produce an unfinished layer of the dental material. Multiple layers of the dental material are then produced by continually providing a powder of dental material and selectively depositing an amount of a binder until a three-dimensional unfinished model is produced. The unfinished model is then separated from an amount of unaffected powder, and is sintered to produce a three-dimensional dental restoration having a functionally-graded structure.
