    摘要: The liquid transfer apparatus includes a liquid storage drum, a liquid transfer structure on said storage drum and a transfer container positionable on the liquid transfer structure. The liquid transfer structure includes a pump, a level sensor and a riser hose member. The riser hose member has one end in the drum and another end in communication with the pump. The pump and the level sensor remove a desired amount of the liquid from the storage drum through the riser hose member into the transfer container. The riser hose member includes a rigid riser tube inserted into said drum, a free end of the riser tube resting on or adjacent a bottom surface of the drum, allowing the drum to be completely emptied of the liquid.

    摘要: A filtering device incorporating nanoparticles that are known to be capable of destroying bacteria, fungi, viruses, or toxins. The nanoparticles are combined with a filter. The nanoparticles may be pellets adjacent to the filter, a powder of nanoparticles coating at least one side of a filter, or impregnated into a filter. Optionally, two or more filters are contained within an encasement having an inlet and an outlet. Preferably, at least one filter has an electrical charge that is the same as the electrical charge of at least one target particle. Also preferably, coating is accomplished by having a filter to be coated carry an electrical charge that is opposite to an electrical charge carried by the nanoparticles in the powder. Optionally, a filter can be either hydrophobic or hydrophilic.

    摘要: An immersion type membrane filter apparatus 200 is intended for obtaining filtrate by filtrating a fluid to be processed stored within a storage bath 150 and primarily includes a filtration membrane module 300 and an air bubbles supply device 500 disposed therebelow. The filtration membrane module 300 has numerous tubular membranes 310 having on the inner surfaces thereof the function of filtrating a fluid to be processed packed within a cylindrical housing vessel 301 having a discharge port 303 for filtrate. The tubular membranes 310 are held in an opened state at both the ends of the housing vessel 301. The filtration membrane module 300 is soaked in a fluid to be processed in such a way that the tubular membranes 310 are opened in the vertical direction. When air bubbles are supplied to the filtration membrane module 300 from an air bubbles supply device 500, the fluid to be processed flows through the tubular membranes 310 from the down side upwards to naturally circulate within the storage bath 150. Part of the fluid to be processed is filtrated by passing through the tubular membranes 310 from the inside to the outside. As a result, the filtrate thus obtained flows out via the discharge port 303 to a filtrate discharge pathway 600.
