    摘要： An air filtering device for an engine includes two cone-shaped filtering members which are co-axially mounted with other and two collars are respectively engaged with two ends of the assembly of the two filtering members. Each filtering member has a spirally-shaped corrugated periphery. A manifold is connected between the filtering device and an engine, a tube connected to manifold and communicating with an interior of the manifold. A regulation member is received in the manifold and includes a ring with a plurality of blades engaged in the ring. Each blade is located inclinedly relative to the ring. Air flows in the filtering device from two ends and the periphery of the device and the filtered air flow becomes spiral flow entering the engine.

    摘要： Smoke evacuation apparatus designed to provide safe and efficient filtration and evacuation of smoke plume generated by laser-surgical, electrosurgical, radiosurgical, and electrocautery devices. To ensure capture and removal of the smoke plume, several stages of filtration processes, including a first micro-pre-filter to filter out the most particles and harmful elements at this stage followed by passage of the smoke plume through a main vacuum suction unit and filter to filter out the remaining particles and any odors, are employed. Preferably, the main filter comprises fine charcoal through which the air flows radially which helps remove the odors. In a preferred embodiment, means are provided to monitor the degree of pollution of the main filter to warn users when it is desirable or necessary to replace the main filter. In addition, means are provided to ensure reasonably constant air mass flow to protect against significant clogging of the system which could result in undesirable passage of harmful particles into the environment.

    摘要： A filter for removing solids from a liquid comprising a filter housing with an inlet and an outlet, a first filtration element nested within the filter housing and having a first plurality of openings, a second filtration element nested within the first filtration element and having a second plurality of openings for filtering grease and non-particulate substances, where the second filtration element has a shorter height with an upper end thereof being located below at least one opening of the first filtration element thereby allowing bypassing of the second filtration element. Alternatively, the filter may also include a third filtration element nested within the second filtration element and having a third plurality of openings where the second filtration element has a shorter height than the third filtration element, an upper end of the second filtration element being located below at least one opening of the third filtration element thereby allowing bypass of the second filtration element. In yet another embodiment, the first plurality of openings of the first filtration element further comprises primary openings and secondary openings, the primary openings being smaller than the secondary openings and being positioned at a lower elevation below the secondary openings. Moreover, in yet another embodiment, the filter may include a first filtration element and a shortened filtration element nested within the first filtration element. Both the first filtration element and the shortened filtration element may be nested within a support insert.
