摘要: Disclosed are ultrapure water production systems, semiconductor processing systems, and semiconductor fabrication methods. An ultrapure water production system may include a front filtering part that filters a fluid and a rear filtering part that filters the fluid released from the front filtering part. The rear filtering part may include a UV irradiator that irradiates a UV ray to the fluid to remove an organic material from the fluid, an ANP that removes hydrogen peroxide from the fluid released from the UV irradiator, a connection line that connects the UV irradiator to the ANP, a hydrogen peroxide detector that is on the connection line and detects a concentration of hydrogen peroxide in the fluid released from the UV irradiator, and a DO detector between the hydrogen peroxide detector and the ANP to measure a concentration of dissolved oxygen in the fluid released from the UV irradiator.

摘要: Carbonaceous material that is activated to form precursor activated carbon is further enhanced by doping with iron and nitrogen and calcining. The resultant sorbent material has excellent catalytic properties which are useful in the field of fluid purification. The further enhancement can be performed in a single stage process or a dual stage process. The carbonaceous material includes those obtained from coal, wood, or coconut shells. The described treatment processes result in a sorbent material that has excellent performance in removing chloramine and similar compounds from fluids such as water that is intended for drinking.

摘要: Sorbents are disclosed which exhibit less inherent leaching of arsenic and antimony than what is achieved by conventional sorbents. The inventive sorbents are formed by a process which includes the steps of contacting the porous sorbent particulate with a solution of a metal oxide or metal hydroxide, or a metal oxide or metal hydroxide precursor, and depositing metal oxides and hydroxides within the pores of the porous sorbent particulate. Purification of water is also described.

摘要: An active carbon molded body that comprises a plurality of active carbon granules that are formed from aggregates of active carbon particles. The active carbon granules include a fibrous granulation binder. The active carbon molded body is formed as a result of the plurality of active carbon granules being aggregated by means of the fibrous granulation binder in the active carbon granules.
The present invention is also an active carbon molded body production method in which active carbon granules that have been formed by aggregating active carbon particles by means of a fibrous binder are molded by simultaneous application of heat and pressure without separate addition of a molding binder.
The present invention thereby provides: an active carbon molded body that has high purification capacity and good production efficiency; and a production method for the active carbon molded body.-

摘要: An indirect evaporative cooling system for cooling a space adjacent to or containing an ablution bay is described. The indirect evaporative cooling system includes a greywater source from the ablution bay and evaporative cooler apparatus located above the space to be cooled in a dome shaped housing. The evaporative cooler apparatus includes a wet channel, at least one spray nozzle, and a dry channel. The at least one spray nozzle is located at the top of the evaporative cooler apparatus and is fluidly connected to the greywater source and the wet channel. The wet channel is located directly above the dry channel. A first side of the dry channel is connected to a first opening with a fan and outside air.

摘要: A sodium alginate-gelatin based biochar multivariate composite material, a preparation method therefor and a method for removing cadmium in water body are provided and relate to the technical field of biochar adsorbent materials. The sodium alginate-gelatin based biochar multivariate composite material has a high and stable removal efficiency for cadmium divalent cation (Cd2+) in a potential of hydrogen (pH) range of 4-7 in the water body, with a maximum adsorption capacity of 86.25 (milligrams per gram) mg/g. The composite material of the disclosure has good recyclability. After five regeneration tests, the adsorption capacity of the composite material for Cd2+ can still reach 70% of the initial adsorption capacity. The preparation method of the disclosure has simple process, easy control, low manufacturing cost, and is suitable for large-scale production and application.
