摘要： In a fuel injection valve including a flat fuel diffusion chamber provided between a valve seat member and an injector plate to widen radially outwards from an outer end edge of a valve seat bore, an annular step is formed on a ceiling surface of the fuel diffusion chamber so that a level of the ceiling surface is gradually lowered radially outwards, and fuel injection orifices are disposed immediately below the step and at a distance from an inner peripheral wall of the fuel diffusion chamber. Thus, a fuel spread radially in the fuel diffusion chamber is allowed to collide with the annular step, leading to an enhancement in fuel diffusing effect, so that it is possible to further promote the atomization of the fuel injected from the fuel injection orifices and to form more stable fuel spray forms.

The nozzle device (18) is controllable by the cylinder slide (13) and extends transversely to the direction of movement of the length of material. The cylinder slide (13), in its cylindrical surface, includes first surface grooves (27) which are supplied with liquid medium and which, as a function of the rotational position, are able to communicate with the nozzle device (18). The cylinder slide (13), in its cylindrical surface, also includes second surface grooves (31) which accommodate sealing strips (32) which, with pre-pressure, rest against the surface of the cylinder chamber (20).

摘要： A showerhead assembly for distributing gases within a processing chamber is provided. In one embodiment, the showerhead assembly includes a cylindrical member having a faceplate coupled thereto. The cylindrical member has an outwardly extending first flange at a first end. The faceplate is coupled to a second end of the cylindrical member and has a plurality of holes formed though a center region of the faceplate. The joint between the cylindrical member and the faceplate allow for relative movement when subjected to thermal stresses. In another embodiment, at least one clamp member retains the faceplate to the second end of the cylindrical member.

As the arc of coverage is adjusted, the opening of the upstream flow throttling valve is proportionally adjusted to maintain the precipitation rate substantially constant independent of arc of coverage adjustments. Upstream flow throttling achieved by use of pre-selected number of larger slots for desired flow whose opening area is varied as the arc is being set. The precipitation rate is set by adjusting the throttling valve to provide the desired flow rate for the maximum arc of coverage setting. A pressure compensating valve may also be provided.
