摘要:
A prismatic wood compression molding method capable of easily producing long-sized lumber usable as pillars or like by compression molding. The method is characterized by comparing the steps of: using a plurality of rigid plate-like bodies such as metal plates to compress an outer face of wood throughout length thereof to compression-mold it into prismatic wood which is polygonal, such as rectangular or hexagonal, in cross section; restraining the plate-like bodies by a restrain jig so as to hold flat surfaces of the prismatic wood in a state in which they are compressed by the plate-like bodies; and applying a heat treatment to the prismatic wood held in the compressed state by the plate-like bodies and the jig so as to permanently fix the shape of the prismatic wood.

A method for producing a processed substantially continuous veneer ribbon is provided. The method comprises providing a plurality of debarked wood logs. A substantially continuous veneer ribbon is separated from each of said plurality of debarked wood logs. The substantially continuous veneer ribbons is conveyed to a plurality of storage locations. A system is provided for processing the substantially continuous veneer ribbons introducing a plurality of the substantially continuous veneer ribbons from the storage location to the continuous veneer ribbon process system. A processed continuous veneer ribbon is formed from the plurality of the substantially continuous veneer ribbons in the continuous veneer ribbon process system.
摘要:
The object of the invention is to provide a process for producing a woody composite material having strength endurable for use as a structural material, even when using short woody chips of 15 cm or less in length. This invention relates to a process for producing a woody composite material which comprises the steps comprising blending woody chips of 1 to 15 cm in length with a binder, piling up the woody chips so as to be oriented in the longitudinal direction thereof to form a mat, and pressurizing and heating the mat from a direction perpendicular to both the longitudinal direction and vertical direction of the woody chips.
