    摘要： A printer has one or more tractor sets for continuously feeding paper along first and second paper paths. One tractor set may be pivoted between positions for feeding paper from the front or bottom of the printer along the first paper path. Where one tractor set is used, it may be removed from the first feed path and disposed along the second paper path to feed paper along the second paper path for printing. Where two tractor sets are provided, the second set is disposed along the second paper path to feed the paper along the second path for printing. The tractor sets are detachable and usable in each of the three tractor set feed positions. Other features include eccentric bearings, resilient roller assemblies, an integrally molded mainframe and a cartridge assembly having a one-way ribbon advance clutch and a tensioning device before the mobius loop.

    摘要： A paper feeding device for feeding paper to a printer wherein the paper is advanced by a paper feed motor and a print head prints on the paper while the paper is supported by a platen. The feeding device includes a paper stacker for storing a stack of paper sheets, a feed roller which is disposed for contact with a top sheet of the paper stack for feeding the top sheet when the roller is rotated, a first paper path for directing the top sheet from the paper stacker to the printer, a second paper path for directing another sheet of paper to the printer without passing the feed roller, a transmission mechanism disposed between the feed roller and the paper feed motor for transmitting a rotary motion of the paper feed motor to the feed roller, and a cut-off mechanism disposed in the transmission mechanism which is manually operated to a cut-off position in which the feed roller is operatively disconnected from the paper feed motor.

    摘要： Individually programmable compression rolls for an accounting machine having a rotatable platen which is split into first and second parts, with the rolls being spaced along the platen. Each roll is rotatably mounted on a roll arm which is pivotally mounted on a supporting shaft having a spring thereon to resiliently urge the associated roll against the platen. Each roll arm has first and second actuating arms associated therewith, with the first arm being fixed to rotate with a first actuating shaft but being axially slidable thereon between first and second positions, and with the second arm being fixed to rotate with a second actuating shaft but being axially slidable thereon between first and second positions. In the first position, each actuating arm is out of contact with its associated roll arm, and when selectively axially moved to the second position, the actuating arm is aligned with the associated roll arm enabling the associated actuating shaft (when rotated) to pivot the roll arm and move the associated compression roll away from the platen. Separate actuating linkage is provided for the first and second actuating shafts.
