摘要： An example system includes an imaging device and a consumable storage unit. The imaging device includes at least one consumable used in operation of the imaging device and a controller. The consumable storage unit includes at least one cavity to store a replacement consumable therein. The replacement consumable is inaccessible for use in operation of the imaging device. The controller is communicatively coupled to the consumable storage unit to receive a signal indicative of presence or absence of replacement consumable in the consumable storage unit.
