摘要： A cylindrical printing plate formed with high precision and used for printing on a metal can body, particularly an aluminum or aluminum alloy can body. The forming method of a printing plate forms the printing plate to be mounted on an outer periphery of a cylindrical plate cylinder, and includes a notch forming step of forming a positioning notch in a rectangular elastic material sheet in which a resin layer to be served as a plate section is formed on one surface. A cylindrical material forming step rolls the elastic material sheet in which the positioning notch is formed and overlaps both end portions of the elastic material sheet and joining them in a cylindrical shape. A plate section engraving step engraves a printing pattern on the plate section of the elastic material sheet formed into a cylinder shape.

摘要： Provided is a printing plate cylinder to which a sleeve printing plate is detachably attached. In the printing plate cylinder, weight reduction and radiation performance can be improved, and generation of rust can be suppressed. The printing plate cylinder (1) includes a shaft portion (3) rotatable about a central axis (O), a tubular portion (5) formed cylindrically, arranged coaxially with the shaft portion (3), and arranged at a distance from an outer circumferential surface (3a) of the shaft portion (3), and a rib (7) fixed integrally to the outer circumferential surface (3a) of the shaft portion (3) and an inner circumferential surface (5b) of the tubular portion (5) and connecting the shaft portion (3) and the tubular portion (5). An air supply channel (31) is formed so as to penetrate from the outer surface of the rib (7) exposed to the outside to the outer circumferential surface (5a) of the tubular portion (5).

摘要： A replaceable sleeve having a working surface is provided which is adapted to be mounted on a carrier. The sleeve includes an inner polymeric layer, a reinforcing layer overlying the inner layer, an intermediate polymeric layer overlying the reinforcing layer, and an outer polymeric layer. The sleeve may include a cushion layer between the intermediate layer and the outer layer. The layers comprising the sleeve are formed around a support and then cured simultaneously in a single step. The resulting sleeve may be used in printing operations or in other applications such as coating, embossing, laminating, calendering and the like.

摘要： A flexible jacket covering is pre-stretched, pre-flattened and pre-cut to predetermined length and width dimensions for attachment onto a transfer cylinder. The flexible jacket covering is marked with alignment stripes and centering marks for faster, simpler and precise attachment of the flexible jacket covering onto the transfer cylinder in an operative position. A predetermined precise amount of movement or looseness of the pre-fabricated flexible jacket covering relative to the transfer cylinder support surface is established in the operative position. Reinforcement strips are stitched onto the gripper, the tail and the operator/gear side edges of the flexible jacket covering for stabilizing the flexible jacket covering and preventing detachment from the transfer cylinder during high speed press operation. At least one side of each reinforcement strip has pressure sensitive adhesive for securing the flexible jacket covering onto the transfer cylinder.
