摘要： A trailer hitch for attachment to a vehicle bumper for providing releasable coupling with a trailer coupling member. The hitch includes a coupling ball partially surrounded by an enclosure extending above the top of the coupling ball. A safety bar is received in slots formed in the surrounding wall. The safety bar, when installed, overlies the coupled arrangement of a ball joint and trailer coupling member so as to prevent their unintended separation. Further, the walls surrounding the coupling ball are pivotally mounted to the vehicle bumper and include a spring which contacts either the vehicle or its bumper to orient the enclosing walls in a preferred direction.

摘要： A device to prevent binding of the swivel coupling in a trailer hitch array which includes a draft hitch projecting forwardly from the trailer, the swivel coupling being of longitudinal pintle type and projecting rearwardly from the towing vehicle, a mount to which the rear end of the swivel coupling is fixed, and a ball and socket unit connected between the forward end of the draft hitch and the mount; said device being comprised of a yoke connected between the draft hitch and the mount independently of the ball and socket unit, effective to always maintain the relatively rotatable socket centralized on the ball whereby to prevent binding and inoperativeness of such swivel coupling which otherwise frequently occurs in response to lateral cocking of said socket on the ball caused by forces transmitted from the trailer to the draft hitch under certain travel conditions. The device is especially adapted, but not limited, for use in a hitch array in which the draft hitch is of load-leveling type.

摘要： A hauling hitch comprising a tongue member having a horizontally disposed clevis at the forward end thereof for connection to the hitch of the towing vehicle. A safety chain is secured at one of its ends to the top forward end of the tongue member on the center line thereof and extends forwardly therefrom to extend around a suitable anchor on the towing vehicle. A chain latch mechanism is secured on center line of the tongue member and comprises a stationary jaw member having a movable jaw member pivotally secured thereto. The free end of the safety chain is selectively received between the jaw members of the latch mechanism. A loop type lock pin or keeper is secured to the free end of the safety chain and is selectively secured to the free end of the safety chain and is selectively secured to the jaw members to prevent the opening thereof to maintain the chain therein.

摘要： A power operated coupling device includes a ball hitch mounted on the drawbar of a tractor and a ball hitch-engaging member mounted on the tongue of an implement. A keeper which is hydraulically remotely controlled between latching and unlatching positions, confines the tongue of the implement to movement about the ball. The draft links of the tractor carry a pick-up bale which engages a pick-up hook on the tongue of the implement to either raise or lower the tongue into engagement with or disengagement from the ball hitch.

摘要： A three point or other hitch for use in conjunction with a tractor, preferably for mounting onto its front end, a pair of side plates permanently mount onto the front side edges of the tractor, each side plate incorporating shaped cradles for holding the hitch thereto. The hitch incorporates laterally extending trunions for mounting onto the side plates, and the lift arms of the hitch have a stabilizing plate arranged intermediate thereof, in order to provide enhanced support. Each lift arm incorporates a clamp, at their frontal ends, with each clamp incorporating a support for holding a draw pin, and a dog associated with each clamp for locking the pin into position, but which can be manipulated by a cam for holding the respective dogs out of their locking position, so that any implement can be freed therefrom.
