    摘要: Trailer structure having a tilt limiting loading ramp and an improved structural side member forming an adjustable axle mount and having a load tie down track is described. The trailer has a load supporting bed and utilizes a load tie down system having tie down tracks at each side and one or more additional tie down tracks at selected locations on the load supporting bed. One or more tie down devices are selectively positionable in each tie down track and are used to restrain various loads including various wheel supported loads. To accommodate a low trailer profile an improved tongue adaptor is provided. A fender mount structure to cooperate with the improved structural side member is also described. Improved loading ramp structures, including a tilt-bed loading ramp a tilt limiting structure for limiting the angle of bed tilt for use on a tilt-bed trailer are shown. A rack structure to mount to the load tie down tracks in the structural side members is shown.

    摘要: A mobile base assembly wherein a plurality of wheels 12 are attached to a frame 14 for movably supporting the frame 14 on a support surface 16 and an anchor mechanism 10 lifts the wheels 12 from the support surface 16 and anchors the frame 14 to the support surface 16. A pair of spaced plates (20 or 22) are attached to the frame 14 and an anchor member 34 is pivotally mounted between the plates (20 or 22) for pivotal movement between an anchor position (FIG. 4) and a retracted position (FIG. 3). A lever 70 is pivotally mounted between the plates (20 or 22) and presents a cam 72 for engaging and pivoting the anchor member 34 against the biasing reaction of a spring 60 from the retracted position to the anchor position. A foot 40 is attached to a foot flange extending from the anchor member 34 and has a base 42 for engaging the support surface 16 in the anchor position.

The system typically includes four power screw sections each having a threaded shaft connected to a power source located within an elongated channel. A carriage is in threaded engagement with the threaded shaft and is adapted to translate within the channel. The carriage is connected to a connecting member such as a chain that connects to the under structure of a vehicle. Typically, the four power screw sections are located on a platform that holds the vehicle. Several of these platforms are located on a vehicle transporter. All of the power sources may be connected to a control unit.

    摘要: An ambulance stretcher support is described for an ambulance having a floor with a top floor surface. In one embodiment, each support includes a stretcher leg receiving member that is adapted to releasably receive an ambulance stretcher leg. A base, configured to be mounted to the ambulance floor, mounts the stretcher leg receiving member for movement between a position substantially coplanar with the top floor surface, and a position below the top floor surface. A vibration reduction device is mounted between the base and the stretcher leg receiving member such that the stretcher leg can be releasably supported on the stretcher leg receiving member and the vibration reduction device will reduce transfer of vibration from the ambulance floor to the stretcher.

Brackets containing guide rollers attach a left and right upright movable rail to the frame. An electrically driven set of gears drive a vertically positioned threaded rod attached to a gear housing connected to a transverse portion of the frame apparatus. A bottom of the threaded rod is attached to a transverse rod connecting the left and right movable rails. The bottom portion of such movable rails are attached to rearwardly directed support arms which support a transverse track adapted to transport a motorcycle.

    摘要: A lockable vehicle retaining apparatus is provided for securing of a vehicle such as a motorcycle to a conveyance vehicle or to a fixed position mounting structure. It comprises a base structure including a pair of horizontal, superposed plates, an elongated post secured at it's one end to the top plate and extending orthogonally upwardly therefrom terminating in an upper end and a vehicle connector secured to that upper end. Attachment devices extend through the bottom plate for securing an apparatus to either a conveyance vehicle or a mounting structure with their heads located between the plates where they cannot be accessed without the plates being separated. Separation of the plates is enabled by their pivotal interconnection along one edge by a hinge structure when the vehicle is not locked to the apparatus. The vehicle connector includes a pair of interfitting U-shaped brackets that receive a component of the vehicle in securing relationship. A locked device secures the brackets together. The post is axially reciprocable to enable the apparatus to accommodate vehicles of different sizes and is formed of two cooperative interlocking devices that prevent their separation.
