摘要： A modular produce crate has four side panels, a base panel and abase having a quadrant of upper surface corner base connectors. Each side panel defines an interior base panel channel, a pair of side panel corner connectors extending below the channel and side panel interfacing edges above the channel. Adjacent pairs of the side panel corner connectors plug into each respective corner base connector to enclose the channels around the base panel to hold the base panel and adjacent interfacing edges thereof are fastened together. As such, the base panel is held fast by the engagement of the side panel connectors within the respective base connectors thereunderneath and by the fastened interfacing edges of the side panels thereabove.

An example pallet includes a primary support member and one or more support legs attached to the primary support member and extending from a bottom surface of the primary support member. The primary support member defines an exterior body which bounds a circular interior space. The primary support member further defines one or more support struts extending through the circular interior space and attached with the exterior body such that, in operation, the primary support member is configured to support a coil of wire thereon. In some embodiments, a secondary support member having a complementary shape to the primary support member is used where the support legs are positioned between the primary support member and the secondary support member.

Each side of the pallet has a first opening and a second opening which are defined by the upper load supporting surface, the lower surface, and a pair of peripheral supports. Inclined surfaces are provided on the lower surface.

摘要： A pallet having a unique runner system where each runner opens into the upper deck of the pallet or opens away from the upper deck, and each runner is formed of a construction of z girts back to back resulting in a flattened “V” or “U”. Each runner may optionally include an elongated notch on its bottom surface or an opening to allow forklift tines to slide into for easy transport of the pallet. The pallet may also include cross runners of similar construction for additional strength. The pallet's construction allows the pallet to be made of plastic material, perhaps molded, providing lighter weight and longer durability than its wooden cousins.

The goods, preferably in displays or stacking trays (70) are supported on the pallet's base (21). The pallet (20) includes removable wheels or casters (36) and two parallel rails or guides (33) projecting from the bottom surface (26) and a perimeter wall (22,23) projecting from the upper surface (25). To the extent a forklift is used, the guides (33) provide a side-exposed space or opening between the wheels (36) permitting insertion of the forklift tines. The cover (60) and pallet tray (70) include side openings (63,73) to align with the space or openings below the pallet (20) base (21) and between the guides (33) so that forklifts and their tines may be used with the covered assembly (10).
