摘要: A method for visualizing an inclination of a motor vehicle in the motor vehicle, in which the inclination of the motor vehicle is measured and made visible in the interior of the motor vehicle. The inclination is made visible by interior lighting of the motor vehicle. At least one virtual plane is formed, which intersects the motor vehicle horizontally when the latter is in a horizontal position and serves as a reference plane for displaying the inclination. Changes in the inclination of the motor vehicle are modeled dynamically by the interior lighting by the sequential and/or parallel activation of illuminants of the interior lighting.

摘要: Various implementations of an illumination system include a light guide, a housing having a ceiling and defining a window, and a base coupled to the housing. The light guide is supported between the base and the ceiling. At least one light source is disposed adjacent a first end of the light guide. The light guide transmits the light from the light source through at least a portion of the outer surface of the light guide and the window. One or more tabs extending from the base each define at least one opening, and the at least one opening defined by each tab is alignable with an opening in a spoke portion of a frame. The openings receive a fastener to couple the base to the spoke portion. The housing may be integrally formed with a trim cover coupled to the frame.

摘要: The techniques of this disclosure relate to a vehicle occupancy-monitoring system. The system includes a controller circuit that receives occupant data from an occupancy-monitoring sensor of a vehicle. The controller circuit determines an occupancy status of respective seats in a cabin of the vehicle based on the occupancy-monitoring sensor. The controller circuit indicates the occupancy status of the respective seats on a display located in a field of view of occupants of the vehicle. The display is integral to one of a roof light module, a door panel, or a headliner of the cabin. The system can improve passenger safety by alerting the operator and other occupants about the occupancy status of the passengers.

摘要: An imaging apparatus comprises a first light source configured to project a first illumination onto a vehicle occupant and a second light source configured to project a second illumination onto the vehicle occupant. The system further comprises an imager comprising a pixel array. A lens apparatus comprises a first lens comprising a first field of view and a second lens comprising a second field of view. At least one shutter is selectively controlled to transmit the first illumination from the first lens to the pixel array. The at least one shutter is further controlled to selectively transmit the second illumination from the second lens to the pixel array. The imager is configured to process the first illumination in the first field of view and the second illumination in the second field of view.

摘要: A system of detecting vehicle components in operation in a vehicle includes at least one light source configured to emit a predetermined wavelength of light onto structures within the vehicle, wherein at least one of the structures may include a passenger seat belt assembly having a pattern of reflection and retroreflective surfaces tuned to a predetermined wavelength at a preferred luminance. At least one 3-D time of flight camera is positioned in the vehicle to receive reflected light from the structures in the vehicle and provide images of the structures that distinguish the preferred luminance of the pattern from other structures in the vehicle. A computer processor connected to computer memory and the camera includes computer readable instructions causing the processor to reconstruct 3-D information in regard to respective images of the structures and calculate a depth measurement of the distance of the reflective pattern on the passenger seat belt assembly from the camera.

摘要: A smart functional vehicle component includes a vehicle component, a leather sheet fixed over a surface of the vehicle component, a flexible electronic circuit contacting an A-surface of the leather sheet and including a printed and cured conductive ink, a light source that emits light when electrical power is supplied to the light source, the light source being electrically connected to the circuit, and a pigmented coating arranged over the electronic circuit and over the light source. The pigmented coating inhibits or prevents the circuit and the light source form being visible through the pigmented coating. Light emitted by the light source is visible through the pigmented coating. Light emitted by the light source provides visual indicators that convey information to a vehicle occupant.

摘要: A safe exiting assistance system includes an object detector that detects an object which approaches from a rear side of a vehicle, a body detector that detects physical information of a passenger in the vehicle, a door opening/closing detector that detects door opening or closing information of the vehicle, a determiner that determines whether a situation requires alert to the passenger in response to detection results of the object detector and the door opening/closing detector and calculates a value sensed by the body detector in response to vehicle information set in advance, and a controller that differently controls a position and an irradiation angle of a light source in response to the physical information when information in which the alert is necessary is received from the determiner.
