摘要: A system includes an illumination source operable at an adjustable duty cycle, a camera arranged to detect illumination from the illumination source, and a computer communicatively coupled to the illumination source and the camera. The duty cycle indicates a proportion of time that the illumination source is illuminated in a repeating pattern. The computer is programmed to operate the illumination source with the duty cycle at a baseline duty cycle in response to failing to detect an object having a preset type in image data from the camera, and operate the illumination source with the duty cycle at a high duty cycle in response to detecting the object having the preset type in the image data from the camera. The high duty cycle has the illumination source illuminated for a greater proportion of time than the baseline duty cycle.

摘要: Various implementations of an illumination system include a light guide, a housing having a ceiling and defining a window, and a base coupled to the housing. The light guide is supported between the base and the ceiling. At least one light source is disposed adjacent a first end of the light guide. The light guide transmits the light from the light source through at least a portion of the outer surface of the light guide and the window. One or more tabs extending from the base each define at least one opening, and the at least one opening defined by each tab is alignable with an opening in a spoke portion of a frame. The openings receive a fastener to couple the base to the spoke portion. The housing may be integrally formed with a trim cover coupled to the frame.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling the illumination of an occupant compartment of a motor vehicle with multiple illumination devices, wherein a region of the occupant compartment assigned to the respective illumination device can in each case be illuminated by means of the illumination devices, wherein at least one light-specific parameter assigned to at least one of the regions or at least one item of illumination information from which the light-specific parameter is derived is specified by the user, wherein a variable characteristic of the light generated by the illumination device in the region depends on the respectively assigned light-specific parameter. The fulfillment of a change condition is checked by means of a comparison of at least one light-specific parameter assigned to one of the regions with at least one light-specific parameter assigned to another of the regions, wherein at least one of the light-specific parameters and/or at least one illumination device-specific parameter on which an emission characteristic of the light generated by means of an illumination device assigned to this illumination device-specific parameter depends is changed if the change condition is fulfilled.

摘要: A method for visualizing an inclination of a motor vehicle in the motor vehicle, in which the inclination of the motor vehicle is measured and made visible in the interior of the motor vehicle. The inclination is made visible by interior lighting of the motor vehicle. At least one virtual plane is formed, which intersects the motor vehicle horizontally when the latter is in a horizontal position and serves as a reference plane for displaying the inclination. Changes in the inclination of the motor vehicle are modeled dynamically by the interior lighting by the sequential and/or parallel activation of illuminants of the interior lighting.
