摘要： A shock absorber support device for supporting a shock absorber coupled to a rear suspension member (RSM), the shock absorber support device including an elongated body extending between a first end and a second end. A shock absorber hooking portion is coupled to the first end, where the shock absorber hooking portion is configured to releasably engage a cylinder of a shock absorber. An RSM frame hooking portion is coupled to the second end, where the RSM frame hooking portion is configured to releasably engage a portion of an RSM frame assembly. Engagement of both the shock absorber and the portion of an RSM frame assembly prevents the shock absorber from moving.

摘要： A pressure contained car cannon for the launching and/or flipping of vehicles, or other large-scale props, for use in motion picture action sequences. The device consists of a car canon having a barrel, a cannon foot and a piston. By way of pneumatic pressure, force is achieved by transferring energy from the piston to the cannon foot, resulting in a push force which expels the cannon foot from the cannon barrel, launching the vehicle on its desired trajectory while keeping most all vapor and smoke contained within the barrel itself.

摘要： Jack units are employed to attach skates to an object to be moved. Each jack unit has a tongue that slidably engages a coupling slot affixed to the object, and can be operated to raise or lower the tongue; when raised, the object is supported on the skates and can be rolled to a new location. A crane can attach to lift eyes on the jack units to allow the system to be lifted with the skates attached to the object, avoiding the risk of positioning the skates while the object is suspended. Rotation-limiting structures can be employed to block rotation of the trailing skates to facilitate steering when rolling the object supported by the system. The coupling slots can be provided in coupling elements which can attach directly to the object or which can be employed to form a freestanding frame to which the object is secured.

摘要： In a parallelogram linkage system whose swingable outer end supports a platform turnable between horizontal and vertical positions, the parallel arm has a hub to rotatably support a crank member. The companion lift arm of the linkage carries an actuator pin engaged with a cam surface of the crank member. The cam surface is disposed generally radially with respect to the hub and oppositely to a pin carried at the other side of the crank member. One end of the drive link is pivotally connected to the crank member pin with the opposite end pivotally connected to a short link whose upper end is coaxially pivotally connected at the pivot axis of the load platform. The platform mounts a stop member that is movable between active and inactive positions. In the active position, the stop member abuts the outer end of the drive link whereby upon cammed rotation of the crank member the platform is turned between horizontal and vertical positions.

摘要： Apparatus for elevating and supporting a wheeled vehicle comprises a vehicle receiving platform, and supporting means for the platform providing for angular movement of the platform in a vertical plane extending longitudinally of the vehicle. One position of the platform is arranged so that the vehicle can be driven on its own wheels onto and off the platform. The support means includes a member which supports the platform in the mid region of the length of the platform, elevator means being provided for raising and lowering such member and thus moving the platform from a horizontal loading position to an inclined working position, the platform being pivotally supported at opposite ends about horizontal axes transverse to the length of the platform.
