摘要： A two-wheeled trailer which can transported, when empty, in a folded position with its wheels off of the ground. Particularly useful for hunters who want to get into the back country without having to pull a trailer, it can be rapidly deployed when needed to haul game. The folding trailer is also handy for do-it-yourselfers who want to move lumber, plants, fertilizer, and the like. The trailer includes a rectangular frame which is mounted on a pair of wheels and a “T”-shaped member. Hinged to a transverse cross brace which generally bisects the rectangular frame are two arms. Disposed perpendicularly to the transverse cross brace, the arms terminate forwardly proximate with the distal ends of the “T”-shaped member to which they are pivotally connected. When the trailer is unfolded, the leg of the “T”-shaped member extends in front of the wheeled frame so as to define a tongue. The tongue can be secured by a trailer hitch to a hitch arm pinned to a hitch receiver mounted on the towing vehicle. When the trailer is folded, on the other hand, the tongue extends generally perpendicularly to the wheeled frame and can be inserted directly into the hitch receiver; held therewithin by a pin, the two wheels ride free of the ground. In an alternate embodiment, the two forward corners of the frame are truncated, giving its front end a beveled appearance.

摘要： A wheel set for boats attached to the transom has a first or non-operative position extending upwardly so as not to interfere with boat operation and a second or operative position where the wheel set is submerged below the surface of the water and makes rollable contact with the beach or land area beneath the boat. Supporting the wheel set is a base or rail fixed on the transom having a movable strut with one end supporting a wheel and the other end of slidably engaging with a track in the rail so that the strut is moved and pivoted from the non-operative position into the operative position. An open slot and pin arrangement is employed for holding one end of the strut in the non-operative position and an elongated closed slot and pin mechanism is provided for pivotally connecting the strut to the base or rail for pivoting into the operative position with the wheel downwardly depending from the boat, while another open slot and pin arrangement maintains the wheel in the operative position. An automatic alignment and maintenance of the wheel in the operative position includes having an air-filled tire which provides buoyancy so that the wheel will rise causing the pin of the arrangement to bear against the end of the slot holding the strut in place in a locking position.

Two, spaced-apart pins that are biased downwardly by a spring can be made to rise above the chamber by two levers. The two, spaced-apart, spring-biased pins can project through the upper surface of the chamber by standing on the levers. The pins operatively engage with, and rise adjacent to, the elongated arm thus intersecting the swing path of the sulky about the connecting arm, limiting its arcuate movement.

The rear frame portion may be folded onto the second frame portion with those frame portions being folded upon the wheeled frame portion. The trailer may then be pivotally moved upwardly and secured to the rack of the all-terrain vehicle.

摘要： For a truck trailer bed or a truck cargo enclosure including one or more compartmented, hollow floor sections, a reinforcement system is provided. The system makes use of strip-like metal inserts which are introduced into selected compartments of the flooring sections that lie beneath a relatively compact, heavy object such as a coil of flat-rolled steel or like cargo. The inserts preferably will be fabricated from the same metallic substance as the flooring sections and will be of a transverse cross section that is identical to the compartments provided in the flooring sections. Having such a cross section, the inserts will fill the selected flooring section compartments and increase the rigidity and resistance of the compartments to damage caused by the concentrated object loading thereon.
