    摘要: A cycle has a frame, a seat, a rear wheel, a front fork and handlebar, a front wheel rotatably secured to the front fork, and first and second pedals removably connected to the front wheel. The seat has a base, a top portion pivotally connected to the base to move between an open position and a closed position, and a cavity between the base and the top portion that is accessible when the top portion is in open position. The cavity has receivers that are sized to hold the first and second pedals after the first and second pedals are removed from the front wheel. The top portion can be moved to the closed position when the first and second pedals are in the receivers to store the first and second pedals in the cavity of the seat.

The chassis includes a rotational control shaft having a rotational axis that is generally directed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The rotational control shaft is integrated with or secured to the chassis in a non-rotational manner and passes through the front wheel assembly in a rotationally-free manner, such that the rotational control shaft can rotate about its rotational axis.     摘要: Presented are multi-axis pivoting coupler joints for motorized vehicles, methods for making/using such coupler joints, and electric scooters with multi-axis pivoting coupler joints enabling multimodal scooter operation. A pivoting coupler joint includes first and second bearing assemblies each with a respective housing, respective inner and outer races concentric with each other and located in their respective housing, and a respective set of rolling elements rollably interposed between their respective inner and outer races. The first inner race of the first bearing assembly receives therethrough and circumscribes an axle shaft of a vehicle wheel. The second inner race attaches to a wheeled rider deck of the vehicle. The first and second bearing housings are joined together and angularly offset from each other. For some applications, the first bearing assembly includes a pair of longitudinally spaced needle roller bearings, and the second bearing assembly includes a pair of longitudinally spaced tapered bearings.
