摘要: The present invention provides a method of packaging goods having a liquid element, said liquid element comprising dissolved gases, wherein the liquid element is treated prior to the goods being subjected to a vacuum packing process, such that a substantial volume of the dissolved gages do not escape from said liquid element during said vacuum packing process. Suitable methods of treatment of the liquid element include subjecting the liquid element to a gas removal process and subjecting the liquid element to a freezing process.

摘要: A machine for filling containers includes a series of filling stations, each of which is equipped with an impervious chamber for receiving a container to be filled. The chamber is opened in order to load or unload the container and closed in order to control the atmosphere in the chamber during the filling process. The chamber is delimited by an upper head section, which has a filling spout, by an essentially cylindrical lateral wall and by a base wall. The filling machine has element for modifying the volume of the closed chamber.

摘要: The air remaining within a headspace of a can filled with a liquid such as a carbonated drink, juice drink, tea drink, coffee drink or the like is replaced with one of steam, a mixture of steam and carbonic acid gas, a mixture of steam and nitrogen gas, and a mixture of carbonic acid gas and nitrogen gas. Therefore, the quality of filled liquid can be maintained, and deterioration of the working environment can be prevented by avoiding the spraying of carbonic acid in all directions at the workshop.

摘要: A method or process for substituting an inert gas or blend of inert gases for ambient air in the head space of a container filled with leftover oil-based finish prior to sealing the lid. Even a tightly sealed container of leftover paint, stain, varnish, or other oil-based finish, will thicken, gel, or skin over with time. This occurs because the oxygen that is sealed in the storage container continues to react with oil-based finishes. The process involves using an aerosol can filled with the inert gas or blend of gases to displace the oxygen from a container that has leftover oil-based finish in it. After the oxygen is flushed out of a container with the gas, the lid is sealed tightly. The inert gas or blend must be heavier than oxygen and sink down to block oxygen from the liquid surface. Because gas or blend is heavier than oxygen, it will separate the liquid surface from any oxygen that may remain in a container. The blanket of non-reactive, protective gas used to purge the container allows safe and economical storage of finish.

摘要: A packaging device, particularly for foodstuffs or technical materials, comprising a bell-shaped vacuum chamber. A single-folded film can be placed in the vacuum chamber and the foodstuff can be inserted from the open longitudinal side of the film. Inside the bell-shaped vacuum chamber there is also provided a first transverse thermal bonding bar, which is laterally adjacent to a cutting blade, and a second thermal bonding bar, both bars being L-shaped. At least one nozzle for introducing gas is furthermore provided so as to face the longitudinal or transverse open side of the single-folded film.

摘要: A bell-shaped element is placed in a sealed position whereby it rests against the outer wall of the container which is full of solid commodities in order to create a partial vacuum in the inner area of said bell-shaped element and in the gaseous area of the container. A sealing armature subsequently places a sealing cap on top of the opening of the container. When the vacuum is created, a cleanliness element rests against the free edge of the opening of the container in a position which is sealed by means of a liner. The cleanliness element comprises a sieve which retains solid materials inside the container during suction. The cleanliness element subsequently retracts on a plane of its own, wiping the free end of the opening in order to remove debris and solid particles which could prevent the opening from being sealed in a desired manner.

摘要: A bagging and packaging Machine has a substitute gas supply passage provided in a tube member 13 forming a part of a bag former 10 for forming a strip of packaging material into a bag. By securing a generally elongated plate 21 to a front inner side of the tube member 13 to thereby form the substitute gas supply passage 20 that extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal sense of the packaging material from an upper portion down to a lower end portion of the tube member 13 and by rendering the cross-sectional area of the substitute gas supply passage 21 to be larger at a lower portion thereof than at an upper portion, the structure can be obtained in which a required quantity of substitute gas can be introduced into the bag-shaped packaging material at a moderate flow velocity. In this way, while the speed of packaging operation can be increased and the rate of replacement of the gas can be maintained at a high value, production of defective bagged products which would result from the biting of the articles in the seals consequent upon blow-up of some of the articles within the bag-shaped packaging material can be prevented advantageously.

摘要: An apparatus for continuously forming thermoplastic adhesive cartridges. A molten thermoplastic adhesive supply provides a supply of molten adhesive to a pump downstream from the molten thermoplastic adhesive supply. The pump then provides a molten thermoplastic adhesive melt stream which passes through a screen filter downstream from the pump to prevent the discharge of impurities in the molten thermoplastic adhesive melt stream from the pump. A temperature-controlled conduit downstream from the pump then lowers the temperature of the molten plastic melt stream to closely above its softening point. A continuous molder located downstream from the melt pump for receives the molten plastic melt stream from the melt pump to form the thermoplastic adhesive cartridge continuously.
