Abstract: An assembly and method thereof creates a stack of objects. The assembly has a diverted to move objects having a desired size from a first conveyor to a second conveyor. The diverted utilizes diversion plates. The second conveyor transfers the objects to an accumulator. The objects that are accumulate are squared and then moved to a raised position. A lift assembly then lifts the accumulated objects that were square and translates the objects to a queuing assembly. The process repeats to construct a stack of objects with multiple layers of objects. The created stack of objects may then be transferred to a subsequent destination for further use or processing.

Abstract: A deduster is comprised of two sets (pairs) of counter-rotating dedusting brushes in cooperation with a vacuum system for saw dust removal from wooden lumber. In addition to these features, the deduster may feature a separate, movable, top brush assembly that can be easily adjusted for different board thicknesses and raised up to allow for clearing board jams and for pass-through if boards were to be run without dedusting. This deduster apparatus is modular, thereby allowing it to be positioned over an existing machine or a lumber board unscrambler machine such as a lugged unscrambler machine. There is also a deduster for a board handling hopper.

Abstract: A board turner assembly may include an endless chain, first and second groups of turning arms pivotably coupled with the endless chain and disposed along opposite sides thereof, an upper guide with an inclined surface, an actuator selectively operable to move the upper guide between a resting position and an extended position, and one or more endless belts. The turning arms may be spaced apart at regular intervals that are offset on one side of the chain relative to the other. The groups of turning arms may be operated in an alternating fashion to turn selected boards to a desired orientation (e.g., wane side up). Corresponding methods and systems are also described.

Abstract: An apparatus for singulating logs comprises a stationary support at least one inclined stationary surface and a top edge and a first reciprocating support having a top step positioned against the inclined stationary surface. Abstract: Embodiments provide an electric lug loader system. An electric lug loader may include a shaft assembly rotatably mounted to a frame that extends across a flow path. The shaft assembly may have shafts arranged radially around, and parallel to, the rotational axis of the shaft assembly, clamp members arranged along each of the shafts, support members arranged radially around the rotational axis and across the flow path, and electric drives coupled to the shafts. Abstract: An object transport device which aids in the lifting, carrying, and transport of objects such as logs.
