    摘要: An auxiliary device for displacing a payload receptacle, which stands outside a station, into one of the stations. The auxiliary device includes a temporarily activatable brake release device for releasing the braking device and an auxiliary drive device for displacing the payload receptacle when the brake release device is activated. The brake release device and the auxiliary drive device are arranged in the uppermost region of the elevator shaft and are actuable by way of a crank rod linkage. The crank rod linkage includes a lower actuating end, which can be brought from a rest setting into a working setting. The crank rod linkage is coupled with a rod linkage extension, the vertical effective length of which corresponds with at least the vertical spacing of the walk areas of two adjacent stations.

    摘要: An elevator emergency escape device is activated by mechanical failure, power outage, an earthquake, fire, etc. When the device is triggered by a passenger breaking a cover over an emergency button and pressing the button, the device plays a voice message that informs all the passengers of the situation. The brake is released, and the elevator cab is aligned with the nearest floor, unless the situation dictates a predetermined floor at a different level. The elevator cab can be moved by backup electrical systems, or by manual operation. The device includes the voice message, a braille system for blind passengers, and a lifting device for handicapped persons.

    摘要: An arrangement for a hoist secures safety zones in case persons should be outside the hoist cage in a hoist shaft. The arrangement can identify risk situations and includes mechanical limitation devices that can enter into the path of the hoist cage. The limitation devices are arranged at a distance from the upper and lower end limits of the hoist cage during normal operation in order to form upper and lower safety end limits, thereby mechanically securing the safety zones. Striking surfaces are arranged to tilt between an inactive state outside the path of the hoist cage and an active state in the path of the hoist cage forming the safety end limits. The striking surfaces are balanced so that they strive to take their respective active states. A retaining device is arranged on each striking surface to keep the striking surfaces in an inactive state during normal operation and to release the striking surfaces in a risk situation so that it takes its respective active state.

    摘要: A device and method are set forth for tensioning elevator cables. The device includes a platform supporting a plurality of hydraulic cylinders each adapted to be coupled to a thimble rod for a cable. Hydraulic fluid is supplied to each cylinder at the same pressure until each cable load is transferred from the cable system hitch plate to the platform indicating that each cable is now under the same tension. The thimble rods are adjusted with the cables now at the same tension and the hydraulic fluid is vented from the cylinders to transfer the cable loads back to the hitch plate.
