    摘要: A tailing arm and tubular positioning device with an arm base unit, control module and an arm engaging a hydraulic power unit. A side shift assembly attaches to an opposite end of the arm and fluidly connects to the hydraulic power unit. A lower roller assembly secured to the side shift assembly and fluidly connected to the hydraulic power unit and an upper roller assembly engages the hydraulic power unit. The control module is configured to move upper and lower rollers to support a tubular and maintain contact with the tubular through a range of motion of the tubular, position the upper and lower rollers symmetrically and in snug contact with the tubular, shift the tubular longitudinally with the upper and lower rollers using roller cylinders and rotation of the arm, shift the tubular laterally with the side shifting assembly, and release the tubular.

    摘要: An exemplary method and apparatus for abating reaction products from a vacuum processing chamber includes a reaction chamber in fluid communication with the vacuum processing chamber, a coil disposed about the reaction chamber, and a power source for supplying RF energy to the coil. The coil creates a plasma in the reaction chamber which effectively breaks down stable reaction products from the vacuum processing chamber such as perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) which significantly contribute to global warming. According to alternative embodiments, the plasma may be generated with grids or coils disposed in the reaction chamber perpendicular to the flow of reaction products from the vacuum processing chamber.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a method and apparatus of controlling transmission of data packets in a communications network includes designating all networking devices in a portion of the communications network as either hubs or spokes, communicating a link-state advertisement to each connected hub and spoke in the portion of the communications network, computing a shortest path tree at all the hubs and the spokes based on the link-state advertisement, the computing including truncating the shortest path tree at the hubs only for links leading from the spoke to the hub, creating a routing table at each of the hub and the spoke based on the truncated shortest path tree, and transmitting the data packets in the communications network based on the link-state advertisement. The shortest path tree includes all data transmission routes in the tree except links leading from a spoke to a hub.

    摘要: Polyurethane prepolymers are described which are prepared from 2,4′-diiso-cyanate diphenylmethane (2,4′-MDI), a polyol component and an aliphatic diisocyanate. These prepolymers can be cured with aliphatic, cycloaliphatic and/or aromatic amines to form a cured urethane elastomer. In comparison to cured urethane elastomers based on monomeric 2,4′-MDI, these prepolymers provide elastomers with extended pour life, i.e. they exhibit a slower rate of viscosity buildup after curative and prepolymer are mixed which results in a reduced propensity to crack during the curing process and gives the opportunity to cast larger parts. In comparison to polyurea/urethanes prepared from cured TDI-prepolymers and which optionally include H12-MDI, the prepolymers of the invention have better health and safety aspects.

    摘要: A plasma reactor includes a vacuum enclosure including a side wall and a ceiling defining a vacuum chamber, and a workpiece support within the chamber and facing the ceiling for supporting a planar workpiece, the workpiece support and the ceiling together defining a processing region between the workpiece support and the ceiling. Process gas inlets furnish a process gas into the chamber. A plasma source power electrode is connected to an RF power generator for capacitively coupling plasma source power into the chamber for maintaining a plasma within the chamber. The reactor further includes at least a first overhead solenoidal electromagnet adjacent the ceiling, the overhead solenoidal electromagnet, the ceiling, the side wall and the workpiece support being located along a common axis of symmetry. A current source is connected to the first solenoidal electromagnet and furnishes a first electric current in the first solenoidal electromagnet whereby to generate within the chamber a magnetic field which is a function of the first electric current, the first electric current having a value such that the magnetic field increases uniformity of plasma ion density radial distribution about the axis of symmetry near a surface of the workpiece support.
