    摘要: A device for transferring workpieces from one support to another, such as between a pair of conveyors. The device includes a track supported carriage on which a workpiece support arm is mounted for pivotal movement in a vertical plane. A pair of rotary cams are operatively connected, one between the carriage and the base on which it is supported and the other between the carriage and the support arm. One cam controls the translatory movement of the carriage on the base and the other controls the pivotal movement of the support arm so that by correlating the movement of the two cams any desired path of travel for the workengaging portion of the support arm may be generated. The translatory movement of the carriage is also supplemented by a hydraulic cylinder operable in conjunction with the two rotary cams.

    摘要: A managing structure for an umbilical member includes a flexible conduit for leading an umbilical member inserted therein from a front arm of a robot to a working tool mounted on a wrist of the robot, a first conduit mounting portion provided adjacent to the front arm, and a second conduit mounting portion provided adjacent to a point where the umbilical member is connected to the working tool. One end of the conduit is attached to the first conduit mounting portion, while the other end of the conduit is attached to the second conduit mounting portion. The conduit is laid so that a section thereof between the first conduit mounting portion and the second conduit mounting portion does not contact the body of the robot.

    摘要: Antipendulation cranes and apparatus for overcoming the undesirable effects of cargo pendulation are set forth along with variations of such cranes for transferring cargo under more desirable conditions. The cranes include the normal booms and associated apparatus including the normal hoist lines extending in a substantially vertical direction from the end portion of the booms. At the lower end portion of the hoist lines a hook member or other cargo engaging apparatus is provided for the purpose of lifting and lowering cargo. Located between the end portion of the boom of the antipendulation cranes and lower end of the portion of the hoist lines is an apparatus that permits the major portion of the boom hoist lines to remain in substantially a vertical plane to prevent pendulation of the cargo. Other crane apparatus and methods related to the cranes are also presented.

The system is provided with a manipulator including a forearm having a first longitudinal axis, the forearm including a base, a first wrist member joined to the base rotatably about the first axis and a second wrist member joined to the first wrist member rotatably about a second axis generally perpendicular to the first axis; a working tool mounted to the second wrist member of the forearm of the manipulator; an umbilical member laid outside the forearm between the base and the second wrist member and connected to the working tool; an umbilical member guiding section provided in the forearm and including a guide passage extending generally parallel to the first axis to accommodate the umbilical member in a guidable manner; and an umbilical member retaining section provided in the second wrist member for retaining the umbilical member at a proper position relative to the working tool. The umbilical member guiding section is configured to follow a rotating motion of the first wrist member about the first axis and to shift about the first axis. The umbilical member retaining section is configured to follow a rotating motion of the second wrist member about the second axis and to bend the umbilical member in a radius not less than an allowable bend radius between the umbilical member guiding section and the second wrist member.

The lower boom is raised and lowered by a special double cylinder having two pistons and a common piston rod.     摘要: A windlock for selectively preventing relative pivotal movement between a mobile platform and a horizontal interconnecting stinger at the base of an elevated crane. The stinger is normally interconnected to one load platform for relative pivotal movement about the stinger central axis. Outer horizontal surfaces on the stinger structure are longitudinally movable relative to the platform to a position between adjustable screws which engage them to lock the stinger against rotational movement. This locking arrangement applies the heavy weight of a remote counterweight unit to assist in preventing lateral tipping of the load platform on which the elevated boom is supported. Outboard jacks on the platform further stabilize it against lateral tipping movements.

    摘要: A counterbalanced crane structure having an upright boom and diverging staymast mounted to a ground supported mobile crane base. An independent mobile counterweight unit has a vertical counterweight strut connected to the outer end of the staymast. The counterweight unit is interconnected with the crane base by an elongated horizontal stinger assembly. The counterweight unit is powered to move in an arc, the center of which is determined by the crane base. Turning motion is transmitted from the moving counterweight unit to the main boom and staymast by the stinger. Movable connections on the stinger permit pivotal movement of the counterweight unit about an axis that is substantially radial with the center turning axis of the mainboom and staymast and another pivot axis that is transverse to the radial axis. Limited movement of the counterweight unit toward or away from the crane base is permitted to eliminate direct transfer of tension and compressive stresses through the stinger. The counterweight strut directly transmits tension and compressive forces between the outer end of the staymast and the ground supported counterweight unit. It operates as a mast stop, supporting the staymast against sudden recoil when a sudden shifting of a load occurs along the main boom. Additionally, the counterweight strut facilitates erection of the crane assembly.
