摘要： A sewing machine includes a sewing machine bed, a flat-plate-shaped auxiliary table detachably attachable to the sewing machine bed, a guide member mounted on the bed and guiding the auxiliary table between a first position set at a rear side of the bed and where the auxiliary table is held in parallel to an upper surface of the bed and a second position set at a front side of the bed and where the auxiliary table is attached to and detached from the bed, and an engaging member mounted on the auxiliary table so as to movably engage the guide member. The guide member and the engaging member are engaged with each other, so that the inclination of the auxiliary table relative to the upper surface of the bed is limited in a predetermined angle range when the auxiliary table is positioned between the first and second positions.

摘要： Main frame (100; 30) includes an upper support member (6; 32), and a lower support member (4; 34) positioned in substantially parallel relation to the upper support member with a predetermined interval therebetween and integrally joined with each other via a joint member (5; 35). Supporting leg section (110; 40) is attached to a predetermined position of the main frame to support the main frame in a substantially horizontal orientation at a predetermined height. The main frame and supporting leg section are provided as separate component parts. Sewing machine frame is constructed by attaching the supporting leg section to the main frame. Because the main frame is constructed of the upper and lower support members integrally joined via the joint member, the main frame and the supporting leg section can be transported to a predetermined assembling place before the supporting leg section is attached to the main frame. Thus, the main frame and the supporting leg section can be transported efficiently at low cost.

摘要： Disclosed is a needle plate for a double-needle sewing machine. The needle plate includes a partition extending downward between the needle holes and provided with a thin plate insertion slit in an intermediate portion thereof, and a thin plate inserted into the thin plate insertion slit. Thus, the rigidity of a thin wall formed between the needle holes is reinforced by providing the partition and the thin plate inserted into the partition between the needle holes, so that stitches can be formed in parallel without breakage of the needle plate even when the interval between the needle holes is less than 2 mm.
