    摘要: An energy-absorbing vehicle barrier system is provided. The energy-absorbing vehicle barrier system provides a series of spaced apart barrier units, wherein adjacent barrier units are interconnected by a cable linkage, enabling the modularity that limits damage to the barrier system and facilitates segmented replacement. Each barrier unit provides a vertically spaced apart net of longitudinal cables, each longitudinal cable terminates adjacent the opposing end faces of its barrier unit in the form of a loop, protruding through the end face. The resulting column of spaced apart loops nest with the adjacent barrier unit's column of spaced apart loops in an aligned configuration so that a pin secures both sets of columns, providing the cable linkage. The barrier units are made from no fine concrete that crumbles upon collision so as to absorb energy. The system sits on a substructure also adapted to absorb the energy of a high-speed collision.

    摘要: The first object of the present invention is to provide a derailment prevention guard which can be easily shunted outside the range of the ballast tamping work, the rail grinding work and the rail maintenance work, and has no problem on safety.A derailment prevention guard comprises a guard member installed within a gauge and a support member fixed to a sleeper or a concrete slab track, and the guard member is held by a hold member which can turn around a central axis supported by the support member as turning center between a main rail and the inside of the gauge on the sleeper or the concrete slab track, and the support member is engaged with the hold member by means of a bolt through turning the hold member toward the main rail around the central axis as turning center on the sleeper or the concrete slab track, and the guard member can be shunted inward within the gauge by turning the hold member toward the inside of the gauge around the central axis as turning center on the sleeper or the concrete slab track after loosening the bolt.

The guard rail includes an outer stopper portion configured to prevent the wheel from derailing toward an inner side of the main line rail and an inner stopper portion configured to prevent a derailed vehicle from deviating to an outer side of a track.

    摘要: A guided vehicle transportation system is provided with which toppling down of the vehicle is prevented even when strong lateral external force exerts on the vehicle. The fail-safe mechanism of the system is composed such that a guard rail 31 having a flange 34 extending horizontally at the upper part of each of its vertical guide surfaces for guiding guard wheels 22, 23 provided to the vehicle is laid down on a guide track 3 (depression 10) along the center lone thereof, the vehicle is provided with automatic steering mechanisms 09 and actuators 06 for steering front and rear traveling wheels, and said guard wheels are provided to the vehicle rotatable in a lateral plane and received in the groove of the guard rail 31. A subsidiary guard wheel 33, which is smaller in diameter than that of the guard wheel 22(23), is provided thereon to be rotatable together with the guard wheel 22(23). When the vehicle is moved laterally by strong lateral external force due to a gust of cross wind, the subsidiary guard wheel 33 comes under the flange 34 of the guard rail 31 and heeling over and toppling down of the vehicle can be prevented.

The micropump unit is housed in a casing containing odorous fluid and has a micropump array for ejecting the odorous fluid in tiny droplets. The central processing unit regulates operation of the micropump unit, allowing to control timing quantity and mixture of spread odor. The sensor unit provides the central processing unit with environmental data, like temperature, air density and humidity, as well as human body states for controlling the micropump unit.     摘要: A resilient rail fastener assembly for curved tracks includes a unitary base plate adapted to receive a load carrying rail which includes a pair of planar brace plates for maintaining the rail in a vertical orientation and reducing noise and vibration. More particularly, the rail fastener assembly includes a unitary base plate having an upstanding shoulder disposed on one side thereof, and a pair of spaced, planar upstanding brace plates disposed on the other side thereof and formed integrally with the base plate. An elastomeric pad is positioned between the base plate and the bottom of the rail, with the brace plates being disposed transverse to the longitudinal axis of the rail. The upper portion of each brace plate is disposed in abutting relationship with the upper portion of the rail. By this arrangement, centrifugal forces imparted to the curved rail by the movement of rolling stock, are transferred from the rail, through the brace plates and the base plate, and into the road bed, thereby maintaining the rail in a vertical orientation and reducing unwanted noise and vibration. In an alternative embodiment of the subject invention, a parallel guard rail is mounted between the load carrying rail and the brace plates. In the latter embodiment, the rail fastener assembly further includes a wedge which is fixedly connected to the base plate and interposed between the brace plates and the guard rail, with the wedge abutting the upper portion of the guard rail. By this arrangement, the centrifugal forces imparted to the guard rail by the rolling stock are transferred from the guard rail through the wedge and brace plates into the ground thereby maintaining the guard rail in a vertical orientation.
