    摘要: A light-based measurement system is capable of directing a light beam to a cooperative target used in conjunction with a cable robot to accurately control the position of the end effector within a large volume working environment defined by a single coordinate system. By measuring the end effector while the device is in operation, the cable robot control system can be adjusted in real time to correct for errors that are introduced through the design of the robot itself providing accuracy in the tens or hundreds of micron range. A coordination processor runs control software that communicates with both the laser tracker and the cable robot. An action plan file is loaded by the software that defines the coordinate system of the working volume, the locations where actions need to be performed by the cable robot, and the actions to be taken.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for stamping concrete. In one aspect, a stamp includes a top surface having a three dimensional pattern similar to the three dimensional pattern on its bottom surface. When a portion of a first stamp overlaps a portion of a second stamp, at least a portion of the three dimensional pattern on the bottom surface of the first stamp engages with at least a portion of the three dimensional pattern on the top surface of the second. The engagement between the three dimensional designs or patterns locks or registers the first stamp to the second stamp. In some aspects, a handle of the first stamp engages with a slot in the second stamp. In some aspects, a magnet of the first stamp is attracted to a magnet of the second stamp.

    摘要: An apparatus for forming a pattern on the surface of asphalt comprising an endless belt having a surface formed of an elastic material and having a pattern in a form corresponding to a pattern to be impressed into the asphalt. The apparatus includes a belt pressing device, which may be in the form of a weighted roller or plate, for pressing the belt into the asphalt; and a pair of rollers spaced from either side of the belt pressing device, and at a higher elevation with respect to the asphalt surface to provide controlled lifting of the belt from the pressed asphalt. The belt is formed of an elastic material which has little compressibility, so that when pressed down by the belt pressing device, it spreads laterally outward to form pattern elements that are wider than when pressure is released, to provide clean separation from the asphalt surface.

    摘要: An improved cement finishing hand tool having a handle member with a gripper shaft, a proximal end and a distal end, the distal end being substantially downwardly angled so as to be removably engaged with an upper surface of a removable blade member. The removable blade member is interchangeably secured to the handle member which is structured to independently vibrate resulting in the translation of the vibration from the handle member through the blade member. This vibration facilitates the production of a corresponding desired finish as the lower surface of the blade member is passed over wet cement during the initial and final stage finishing procedures.

    摘要: A method of laying a bitumastic simulated paved surface includes spreading a layer of hot bitumastic material on a foundation layer, the bitumastic material including a thermoplastic rubber copolymer material, filler and reinforcing fibres, allowing the bitumastic material to cool and set, heating the surface of the bitumastic material to soften it for moulding purposes, and imprinting the softened surface with a pattern of grooves to provide simulated gaps between simulated slabs of paving. A layer of bitumastic material has a simulated paved surface, including bitumen, hydrocarbon resin, block copolymer rubber, fillers and reinforcing fibre material, and a groove pattern is impressed into the upper surface of the layer in a pattern to simulate the joints in a paved surface. A road speed control hump of material, includes a hump of material applied to the road, the material including a mixture having rubber chips bound together with a bituminous binder, and a layer applied to the surface of the hump.
