摘要: The invention discloses a method and a device for treating cyanobacteria in a water area based on the principle of biological competition, the method comprising: finding an area where cyanobacteria most easily accumulate, i.e. a concave bank of a water area, and setting up an algae interception net around the area; quickly and largely clearing the cyanobacteria in the area by means of manual or mechanical catching; planting emerged plants on the shoreline of the water area to fundamentally improve water quality; and additionally, densely arranging treatment tanks in a larger water area to kill the cyanobacteria gradually, and collecting dead cyanobacteria to prevent them from polluting the water area subsequently; and collecting and treating the tanks regularly for recycling.

摘要: A target based unit form tidal flat wetland restoration method comprises: (1) determining a target, (2) constructing an ecological unit by microtopography transformation on the tidal flat wetland required to be restored, (3) applying biochar material and salt-resistant ecological material within the ecological unit, (4) performing waterfront plant configuration within the ecological unit. The restoration method uses the natural tidal ebb and flow to adjust water and salt conditions in the ecological unit (salt content is reduced by more than 80%) and maintaining the target water level (0-2 m), optimized the structure of soil microbial community (the abundance of soil bacteria has been increased by more than 200%), improved the germination rate and survival rate of plants during tidal flat restoration process (the germination rate has reached more than 90%, and the survival rate has been increased to more than 62%), enriched plant species in waterfront zone (≥12 species).

摘要: A small watercraft launch comprises a watercraft receiving area defined by a bottom member and side walls. At least one of the side walls defines a port to enable access to the watercraft receiving area (and to a watercraft positioned in the therein). A plurality of aligned notches extending downwardly from the top surface of the side walls on opposite sides of the port which are sized to receive an oar/paddle shaft to allow a boater to pull the small watercraft forward along the small watercraft launch. Lastly, the small watercraft launch has a connecting portion at a bottom of the outer surface of at least one of the launch side walls configured to connect the small watercraft launch to a dock member.

摘要: A process for installing a modular retaining wall is illustrated and described having open or closed polygonal modules with channels disposed therein. The wall is set at least partially below a surface, the surface either being land-based or aqueous-based, and interfaces therebetween, e.g., shoreline. The modules of the wall are fastened to each other by respective fastening mating fasteners. The retaining wall is installed by a process employing a fluid-assisted internal mandrel.

摘要: This invention provides a disaster prevention system capable of taking an effective measure against a flood disaster. According to one embodiment, a disaster prevention system comprises a weather prediction unit configured to calculate a predicted rainfall in a region based on rainfall information necessary for protecting the region from a flood; an analysis unit configured to determine, based on the predicted rainfall calculated by the weather prediction unit, whether a flood can occur in the region; and a control unit configured to control to close a water stop gate provided in the region to protect the region from the flood if the analysis unit determines that the flood can occur in the region.

摘要: In a Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance (RSC) system, rather than increase base flow by putting a horizontal layer of clay and silts in the entire streambed, constructing vertical irrigation curtains with clay rich soil to interrupt the groundwater flow at certain intervals will increase surface water base flows and improve habitat and water quality while also improving the interactions between the hyporheic zones and the channel. Also, by initially providing a subsurface flow channel through which water can flow, for example, using a perforated pipe, and building an access road over that channel during construction, erosion in the RSC project area can be significantly reduced or eliminated.

摘要: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for flood hazard zone modeling. In one implementation, one or more relevant stream segments are identified from an input stream network. One or more cross profiles are defined for one or more selected points on the relevant stream segments, with the selected points located within a flood hazard area. A high resolution flood level elevation map is generated by interpolating flood level elevation from the selected points. A flood depth map is generated having a flood depth value for each of the selected points computed as a difference between the high resolution flood level elevation map and a terrain elevation. One or more flood zones are defined in the flood depth map. The flood zones have a positive flood depth for a return period.

摘要: Disclosed is a control system for a water network. The control system includes a plurality of remotely-located monitoring and or monitoring and automatic control stations each including an automation controller for local control and automation, and each in communication via a dual-ring communication topology for system or wide-area control. The dual-ring facilitates redundant peer-to-peer data exchange to provide upstream and downstream water flow and water quality information. Systems described herein may calculate flow differential based on water flow data from each of the monitoring stations, and control flow based on the calculated flow differential.
