    摘要: A beam or the like, substantially manufactured from rather thin sheet metal either by bending or some other suitable technique and comprising at least one side as well as a fastening strip joining with its edge and positioned at a straight or inclined angle relative to said side. The beam fastening strips and in some cases intermediate strips are provided with studs having a rather dense spacing in longitudinal direction. As the bearing member of a jointing structure, said beam is intended to be secured to a building panel or the like made of wood or a similar material, such as woodboard, boarding chipboard, gypsum board or concrete slab by pressing it against such a panel, so that said studs penetrate into a panel and secure the beam, or by placing said beam on top of a just cast, fresh concrete slab, whereby the studs effect the securing as the concrete sets. The invention is mainly characterized in that the intermediate strips and/or fastening strips of a beam are fitted with reinforcement lists extending lengthwise of the beam for improving the bending strength of the beam.

    摘要: A fastener for use in porous granular or other easily penetratable material includes as a first element a guide element in the form of a flat plate having opposite faces and at least one guide slot which is open along the opposite faces of the plate and which has an open end at an edge of the plate, the slot being at least partially curved along its length. The fastener also includes a material-gripping element in the form of a blade which has a width greater than the thickness of the plate and which is insertable into the slot, the blade having opposite sides which are engaged by and guided by opposite edges of the slot along the entire length of the blade when the blade is inserted into the slot. The blade is deformed by the edges of the slot so as to correspond to the shape of the slot.

    摘要: A nailing anchor for use in fixedly attaching a series of parallel wooden boards to a transverse joist. The member has two flat, horizontal tabs each positionable between one of a pair of adjacent boards and the joist. The tabs are fixedly attached to a flat spacer body and extend perpendicularly therefrom in opposite directions. A hole in the one tab allows the anchor to be nailed to the joist. An elongated slot in the spacer body allows the anchor to be toe-nailed through the one adjacent board into the joist. A flat, triangular point depends perpendicularly from an upper edge of the spacer for fastening the one board to the spacer body.

    摘要: A self-drilling dowel assembly is made up of an expansion sleeve with an annular drill bit formed on one end and a spreader axially displaceable through the sleeve after it has formed a borehole for expanding and anchoring the sleeve in the borehole. The bore through the sleeve is divided by a transverse partition wall into two axially extending blind bores each extending inwardly from an opposite end of the sleeve. The blind bore extending from the drill bit end of the sleeve has a diameter which is 0.5 to 0.9 times the exterior diameter of the sleeve and the axial length of this blind bore is also about 0.5 to 0.9 times the exterior diameter of the sleeve. Axially extending grooves are formed in the exterior surface of the sleeve and recesses extend inwardly from the base of the grooves for facilitating the expansion of the sleeve.

    摘要: The double-ended fastener comprises an elongated sheet metal body having a plurality of longitudinally spaced teeth extending in opposite lateral directions in the plane of the body. The fastener is formed into a ringlet with each tooth being planar, the ringlet being thereby polygonally shaped. The tips of the teeth are bent outwardly of the planes thereof, and upon imbedment cause the teeth to clinch outwardly to form a secure joint. The fastener is disposed between a stud and sheet paneling. The paneling is pressed toward the stud to imbed the teeth of the fastener into the stud and paneling thereby securing one to the other.
