    摘要： The aspects herein relate to the field of fall prevention systems, and more specifically to fall arrest systems for storage bins and more particularly to grain bins or silos. In one aspect, a fall prevention system for a ladder may have an anchor plate coupled to a roof. In another aspect, the fall prevention system for the ladder may have an anchor bar coupled to at least a portion of the ladder. A rope is coupled at one end to the anchor plate or bar and at the other end to at least one rung of the ladder using a fastener. A rope grab is slidably coupled to the rope between the anchor plate or bar and the fastener.

    摘要： An underground silo for storing emergency supplies includes a cylindrical body portion having a closed bottom and side walls and an open top with a flange around the top, a convex cover configured for mating with said open top and having a flange for mating with the flange of the body portion, and a hatch in the cover for accessing stored supplies. The body portion are preferably made of seamless woven fiberglass. The cover includes a lip extending downwardly from the flange for encircling the flange of the body portion. A sealant is provided between the flanges of the cover and body portion to facilitate a fluid tight seal. By placing the silo underground the lives of emergency supplies are extending due to thermal insulation of the underground location.

    摘要： This disclosure teaches a silo having a vertical cylindrical wall of a flexible material, preferably of textile fabric suspended from a supporting frame and preferably engaged sealingly to a rigid lower closure. The flexible material, such as the textile fabric is wound in a spiral band with its lower margin connected to the upper margin of the last preceding turn to form the vertical cylindrical wall of the silo. By this expedient vertical seams are avoided so that weft threads of the textile fabric are substantially spared from tangential hoop stresses. The textile fabric is preferably woven and coated with rubber or plastic.
